Read moreI called to order a pizza. The first person to answer did not speak good English, so I called back. This person said they centralized ordering through a phone system now to be able to focus on getting pizzas out at store. After starting to place my order, I was quoted $14.99 for large specialty. He then transferred to store to complete order. The individual at the store answered. Then took all the same information I just went through, but he said he didn't see a coupon for $14.99, and charged me $21.99 for the pizza/bites/cheese dip promo. He quoted me 45 min for delivery. Hour and a half later I called the store to see where our pizza was. The guy on phone was fussing with a female coworker while on phone with me. When he tried to find my order, he asked how long it would be. At this point, Katie came to the phone. She asked if I still wanted my order. I asked was is not already made? She said no, that unfortunately and order for the school for 19 pizzas had come in and delayed things. She asked if I still wanted my order. I asked again why we were quoted 45 min, then not even contacted to let me know pizza may be late or may not even be coming. I told her I would like my food but I wanted a credit on my card. She asked how I paid, and told me she would credit my card, and that I would have a credit for a future order. Take matters worse, when I asked how long it would be, she said it going in oven and would only take 7 minutes...why then the hour and a half...why then did it take 2 hours from our original order time? That's great we got credit and all, but we won't order from here again. I realize that 19 pizzas made the store more money, but good management would have sent in my order through and then the...
Read moreI've lived here nearly 10 years and never experienced such Disrespectful and Racially Biased Experience at Domino’s
I had an extremely upsetting and racially charged experience at a this Domino’s location. I placed an order that was supposed to be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived on time with my four hungry children, only to be told they were backed up and it would be another 20 minutes. I waited patiently in my car and returned to the pickup window. Despite staff seeing me, no one acknowledged me for 10 minutes even after I honked to get attention.
When I went inside, six employees ignored me as I politely said “excuse me” multiple times. Then two white men walked in behind me, and suddenly a staff member was eager to help them—before me. When I spoke up, she gave me attitude and dismissed my concerns.
I asked for a manager, and multiple employees called out for one. It turned out the manager, “Corey,” had been standing there the entire time and only approached when the white customer said something. When I calmly explained the situation, he accused me of being “belligerent and loud,” which was completely untrue. I was composed, firm, and not once did I raise my voice.
I’m African-American, and this interaction was not just poor service it was laced with racial bias. I left feeling disrespected, dehumanized, and deeply disappointed. This location needs serious training in customer service, racial sensitivity, and...
