CoCo's Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Mathews

Whewww! I am truly surprised this placed isn’t packed 24/7. Service… PERFECT! The timing of our food was just right! It’s so hard to find a place that knows when to bring your appetizers, meal, etc. That’s never a make it or break it just a bonus.

The waitress… nice, sweet, but also wasn’t a “hovering” type. Best service I’ve had in a very long time from ANY restaurant.

The best for last of course the food. Queso, PERFECT wasn’t watered down like others that make it want to go further. Same goes for the salsa and beans they bring out. Very flavorful and hits the spot. We also got the coconut shrimp. The only issue with these was they disappeared so quick! I had a regular frozen margarita. It was the best I’ve had from a restaurant. Didn’t have that mixer sour taste which I hate from other places. I like making them from scratch at home and this was darn close.

For our main course we got the big “bowl” of pretty much everything. It was perfect! Every bite was flavorful leaving me wanting more. Sadly I filled up too quick but it’ll make a great lunch tomorrow. I am seriously convinced that the “juices” at the bottom could cure Covid. It is seriously that amazing. We will definitely be back and will recommend this...

I specifically asked for my food to be ready at 5:10pm (option given when placing my order) when placing on door dash as I get off of work around 4/430. Well while I was in a meeting I got a text at 4:14 saying my food was ready, But at the same time the first text confirmed my order would be ready at 5:10pm. I am very upset because I tried calling multiple times to see if my food was cold and the phone line was busy all 7 times. I show up and asked for my food and told them I asked for my food to be ready for 5:10pm I showed my order confirmation and then showed the two texts about confirming and my order being ready at the same time. She asked me to check my food and all food was cold except the burrito. I explained I didn’t want cold food and she didn’t offer to remake my food or have any sincerity. She explained that if you use door dash they have to make the food at the time the order is placed. I said that doesn’t make sense and if that is how that is then you shouldn’t offer online ordering with them and requests for specific times. I don’t have time to deal with rude teenagers and said I’ll take my food and told her I didn’t need her attitude and before she could speak I walked away. I will be filing a...

Well , I heard the workers were from another Mexican place me and my wife really enjoy so we decided to try this place out. It was the worst tacos I've ever had in my life they taste was that of water. The tacos were soggy and I was supposed to get a chalupa. They call a crispy tortilla with meat and lettuce on top like a single layer Mexican pizza looking thing... They call that a chalupa. That was not a chalupa and it was also flavorless. the ground meat was so watery the center of it turn to mush. The waitress was really friendly and nice. But the food was horrible! When my wife and I showed up there was nobody in the place so we thought we got lucky. Now we know why there was nobody there. The food was gross. The appetizer was great but that was just melted cheese. Never again will I go to this place.... 🤮 And it was over 70 bucks for what El Paso charge's around 45 for.......
