On the Go — Restaurant in Mattapoisett

We recently had the honor of working with Corey and his team at On The Go Catering for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding, and their service was exceptional! From the initial planning to the day of the event, Corey was extremely communicative, ensuring every detail was meticulously handled. His dedication to offering outstanding service and fair pricing was evident throughout.

Corey and his team took care of everything for our backyard wedding, making the entire experience stress-free. He handled the setup in advance and provided all the necessary rentals, including benches for the ceremony, chairs, linens, chinaware, glassware, and cutlery. The staff was incredibly helpful and made sure everything was arranged perfectly. Corey even made our wedding entrance unforgettable by organizing a grand entrance in a golf cart with our dog!

In addition, Corey provided luxury bathroom trailers that were extremely clean, had AC, and nice ambiance music. The luxury trailer had four restrooms and was perfect for our backyard. Corey seamlessly handled everything, from situating the trailer in the driveway to hooking up the power.

We received endless compliments on the food! The clam chowder appetizers were hot and delicious, and the mini lobster rolls were a hit. The prime rib grilled cheese appetizers were fantastic as well. The buffet ran seamlessly, offering a variety of delectable options. The steak tips and stuffed lobster tails were outstanding, and the dessert bar was hugely popular.

The service was unparalleled. Corey and his team ensured we were well taken care of, setting aside appetizers and serving us our dinner plates from the buffet after our first dance so we wouldn’t miss a moment of our wedding. His staff did an amazing job setting up all our accessories, including glow sticks, koozies, fans, the photo booth, and the cigar bar. They coordinated flawlessly with our other vendors, making sure the ceremony and reception setups were impeccable.

I wholeheartedly recommend Corey and On The Go Catering for any event, whether it's a wedding, rehearsal dinner, or party. We're already looking forward to enjoying those steak tips again!

Food recommendations: The clam chowder shooters and prime rib grilled cheese were out...

Corey and his team are absolute ROCKSTARS. They had catered our wedding up in Waltham and we had the absolute best time. We did not have to lift a finger and he took care of everything for us. From the planning, he was amazing and super communicative. He worked with our Venue Coordinator and Day-of Coordinator to ensure that his team had everything beforehand, and came by to visit the venue before the big day. He provided the chairs, linens, chinaware, glassware, and cutlery for the venue, and his staff was beyond helpful!

Now onto the food... we had SO MANY compliments on the food. The mushrooms and clam chowder appetizers were so delicious and hot! The buffet went off smoothly and everyone enjoyed all the options. Strong recommendation is to get the steak tips and the strawberry salad. I would genuinely just go back to Mattapoisett just to get a Takeout container of the steak tips. And we live in Boston! He also provided vegetarian options for our guests as well, and everyone left our wedding with full bellies. The dessert bar was a hit too.

Service.... you couldn't ask for better service! Corey and his staff really went out of our way to make sure that we were taken care of. We were one of those rare couples who actually ate at their wedding! They put aside a small tray of all the appetizers for us to try after we were taking pictures, served us our plates from the buffet, and communicated with our Coordinators. Together, they were able to set up not only the Reception and Cocktail hour but also set up for the Ceremony and put out the chairs. They were essential to why our wedding day went so smoothly.

I would highly recommend Corey and On the Go Catering to anyone who is hosting an event, wedding, bridal shower, party. And we will be coming back for...

We could not have made a better decision for catering at our wedding! Corey has so much experience with weddings, he makes the process so easy and takes all of the stress away from the bride and groom. All that I had to do was prepare a sample menu for both cocktail hour and the reception (including some fun and different ideas I saw on Pinterest) and he brought the vision to life! We opted for buffet style and our guests loved it. The steak tips are out of this world and I cannot stop thinking about the strawberry salad that we had! Family and friends are still raving about how delicious the food was one month later. They all said “Wow, I have never left a wedding full before!”

Corey communicated directly with the venue, bake shop, and all of the other vendors to make sure the day went off without a hitch. That really made all the difference. I was able to enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about logistics! The entire team was so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of all night. We didn’t have to worry about a thing!

Beyond the catering, Corey is a great guy. I had no clue what I was doing and he shared so many helpful recommendations throughout the wedding planning process. We stopped by On The Go one night for our tasting and ended up chatting with Corey for over an hour and a half. We are so grateful to have met him!
