El Callejón — Restaurant in Maunabo

El Callejón is truly a hidden gem! We were driving east, just sightseeing, and ended in Maunabo, pueblo. We looked online for restaurants near us and El Callejón caught our attention because it had higher ratings than other restaurants. It's just across the street the Plaza de Recreo. We loved the inside decor and the tables. The servers were very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious!!!! We had langosta a la parrilla en matequilla, churrasgo con arroz mamposteao, chuleta kan kan, plátanos maduros, jugo de parcha, and flan de queso y coco. The lobster was the best we had on the island. It was so juicy and tasty. The churrasco was incredibly tender, juicy, and very tasty, which is hard to find.
