Alcatraz Beach Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Mayagüez

This happens to be the worst restaurant we have eaten on our 10 trip to P.R. The service was horrible there were 4 if us we received our drinks one at a time after searching for a waitress or waiter and to top it all off 2 of those drinks were beers, how can anyone screw up a beer. Then we ordered our food with the waitress was very unexperience. I send my margaritas back because it wD all lime juice. They still charged me for it because they had to waste. Like really I have send tons of drinks backing the USA never had an issue. Then again we get our food one at a time again. By the time the first person finished eating the other 0ne is just getting started so again by the time the 4th person got his meal all other 3 are finished eating just sitting there trying to make conversation an all 4 meals we're horrible cold and over cooked. Yes we are Tourists in PR but is not the first time or the last. But that was our first and out last time in this Horrible ...

Estuvimos visitando las facilidades durante la tarde de ayer. El ambiente muy adecuado, concurrido y contaban hasta con música en vivo. Al momento de pedir la orden, no se nos informo que la comida podía tardar mas de dos horas, aunque era de suponerse y eso no era un inconveniente, ya que habíamos salido a divertirnos y eramos un grupo de 15 personas. Los platos empezaron a salir por filtraciones (lo cual se entiende claramente) y en el ínterin se añadió dos ordenes (irónicamente, estas ordenes salieron). Pasada dos horas y media aproximadamente, le preguntamos a la mesera sobre el estatus de dos ordenes que no habían salido y fueron de las primeras ordenes que se hizo, a lo cual ella verifica y se percatan que la cocina había eliminado ese pedido. Nuevamente se hace el pedido de la orden del asopao y se pregunta por la otra orden de mofongo con pescado, la cual tampoco había llegado y en tres ocasiones me preguntaron como quería el pescado. Esperamos nuevamente y después de 50 minutos, todavía la orden no había llegado. Pasamos al área del counter, cancelamos el pedido después de mas de tres horas esperando por el mismo, se procedió a pagar lo consumido y nos fuimos del lugar. Experiencia para mi: pésima. Recomendación: contratar a mas personal tanto en cocina como en piso e indicar a los meseros que siempre les informen al comensal cuánto podría ser el tiempo de espera.
