Sweet Sassy Molassy — Restaurant in Mayetta

First time we'd been here since the change over of ownership. Everyone is so sweet, food was yummy. We stopped in for breakfast and both had omelets, they were so light, not heavy like a usual omelet sets on the tummy. There is train from the previous owners that has been there for many many years they ran this morning, definitely a cute addition to the overall feel of this quaint little spot in Mayetta. I overheard the owner speaking to another customer about her moving into this location (it's been owned by 4 different restaurant owners) and she said her old location was okay but they were the best hidden secret and I loved that thought process and explanation as the food spoke for itself. If you haven't been in and happen to be passing through, support this restaurant, they have a full menu and can feed you any time of day. Don't sleep...

It was our first time there and they offered their tradition for it being your first time...homemade bonya cake and oh my gosh! They are fantastic, we ordered 4 to go! Everything was amazing I love their unique creations. We will absolutely be back and we will be telling our friends and family! The owners were so welcoming and sweet. Everything we saw was homemade and made fresh, that's not something you see often. Everything was amazing! When we try somewhere new, we like to order a variety of things. We ordered, Jalapeño chips with ranch, Quesa Birria Tacos. French Onion Burger with French Onion Soup and Fronuts. We loved the Bonya cake and, honestly, everything we had. I cannot recommend Sweet Sassy...

The restaurant is super cute and makes you feel right at home. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. And the smash burger I ordered was probably the best I think I have ever had.

The ONLY negative thing was that they didn't have a high chair, but they assured me that they were working on getting one. 🙂

Oh, and their board offering meals to those who can't afford it? I wish I could give them 10 stars...
