Took 8 minutes to get drinks ordered and we were the only people there at the time A party of 3 showed up amd sat down- asked if theyâd get faster service inside and I said it would HAVE to be faster inside- they werenât very friendly after that Turns out they knew the owner, who barreled past the server and shoved her into a wall as he came yelling from the parking lot, asking his friends if anyone had taken their drink order. ( Didnât know he was the owner at the time) I told the server I was sorry that guy was rude to her and identified him as the owner- I told her it didnât make a good impression on me as a customer to see him mistreat her- she defended him, but I felt he was unkind and should have Apologized no matter who he is! We ordered two personal pizzas for our grandchildren, and it turns out a 10â pizza is their smallest- wish I had know this because I wouldâve ordered only one - canât take it away from them, this PIZZA IS GOOD! My husband and I ordered a dinner salad- we FINALLY found the room temp lettuce beneath the mountain of cheese. This meal was Mediocre. In times past, weâve had the mushrooms ( yummy!) and the pizza (Ditto!) And bbq Chicken breast and leg quarter (awful and not the slightest hint of bbq flavor). My brother got the toughest Brisket ever here It could just be me, but shouldnât your bbq Taste Like bbq?
Asked three times for drink refills, got none- Finally took the drinks to the counter to ask kitchen staff for the refill- they took our glasses and refilled them and after asking twice for the check, we got tired of waiting and went inside Our server was very sweet! She was kind- she was spread so thin and honestly it appeared as if she were the only one working- they werenât that busy as it is Sunday and they close at 3, but it was not a good experience. Last time we ate here, we chalked up a 45 minute wait for food to the fact that it was Karaoke or live music night and this is the only game in town- I guess not- The owner wasnât very professional and he treated his employee badly in front of my husband about his friends not getting drinks in time, which added to the wait time to pay- Not the worst experience ever but not what I want to do between Chirch...
Read moreMy husband and I live in the area and visit from time to time because we love supporting our community. We ate lunch on 5/3 (a Saturday) and they were not busy. From the minute we walked through the door we felt very unwelcome. No one greeted us; not even to tell us to just sit anywhere. Once we sat down, a waitress came to get our drink order and brought us menus (weâd been in our seat a few minutes). She was not welcoming at all (didnât say hi or hello or anything else that would indicate she was glad we came in). When she returned with our waters (a few minutes later) she just set them down and walked off; she didnât ask if we were ready to order or tell us she would be back to take our order. A woman with a baby came in shortly after we arrived and that seemed to take everyoneâs attention; she and the baby moved into the kitchen area with other staff members; the staff did not pay attention to the customers in the dining room. My husband and I waited about 15 minutes for our server to come take our order (I looked in her direction while she was oohing and awing over the baby in the kitchen area). Our server finally came to take our order. Once our appetizer arrived she just put it on the table without asking if we needed anything and walked off before we could ask for plates. Then the pizza came out shortly after. We ordered naked wings and were extremely disappointed; they were not jumbo wings as described in the menu. They were good and the pizza was good. All through our meal the server checked on us once but only as she passed without stopping to see if we really needed anything. She put the check down on the table before we were done eating or to see if we wanted dessert. The entire time she treated us like we were a nuisance; other tables with more customers received far better treatment. This was a very insulting visit. There are very few eating establishments in this area and for anyone to be treated as a bother or a nuisance is...
Read moreI took visiting family to Joes BBQ tonight. It took 10-15 mins for the waiter to take our drink order. When she did we asked for large drinks and they brought out these small mason jars, I thought ok these must be their large size drinks? No. ... As another waitress took drinks to the table behind us with large mason jars double the size of the ones we got. Then the waitress's seem to be fighting over who was going to wait on us? Now it wasn't that busy, as their was 4 over tables with people seated at them. So 30 mins later a waitress who I assumed was the least seniority member who drew the short straw finally took our food order. Another 45 mins later our order was ready. Oh, and we had a two year old who was hungry and screaming as 2 year olds do when hungry, but that didn't make any difference to the waitress. After getting the food it was cold, mash potatoes tasted like leftover instant potatoes. I got the catfish dinner and my wife the salmon dinner, and our 2 yr old granddaughter a hot dog and fires. The sides were bad. The salmon and catfish lukewarm. They didn't give us silverware or refills on our drinks or condiments like ketchup tartar sauce we had to asked for all of these. 3 hours later we finally left $38 bucks lighter and feeling like we ate at McDonalds which maybe would have been a better choice? (And I hate McDonalds). My extended family who had the same experience and my wife and I will never be eating here again. Oh, and one of the waitress I watched as she took a slice of bread and dipped it in a metal bowl and popped it in her mouth. Than they poured some of whatever was in the same metal bowl into another bowl and served it to customers. Double-dipping yuck!. Save your hard earned money and go to Buddy's BBQ at least from my experience its faster and more pleasant service, and the price might be about the same but like I said, service is better and the...
