Farmers Kitchen — Restaurant in Maysville

Absolutely 5 stars! Passing through Maysville, NC on our way to Emerald Isle, my family and I decided to stop at Farmers Kitchen-and we’re so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Chase the Manager and Zed the wing man, who both made us feel right at home.

The food was delicious-fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The restaurant itself was spotless, and I was especially impressed watching Chase work so hard to keep everything clean and running smoothly. He was hustling around the dining room with the dedication of an owner, which was inspiring to see in such a young manager.

It’s rare to find a place where the staff takes such pride in their work and the atmosphere is so welcoming. If I find myself with the munchies on my way back home, I’ll definitely make a second stop at Farmers Kitchen before heading out of town. Highly recommended for anyone passing...

We just moved to town from Japan, and my 9 year old has been craving southern food since we stepped foot in NC. Today I was under the weather and didn't feel up to cooking, and my husband was exhausted from work, so he didn't want to go out. We ordered via door dash but they never sent a driver, so I ended up having to drive up and pickup my food, only to see the place had closed. I was so disappointed but the two gentlemen working brought me in and fixed up our food fresh for us; they even dropped a fresh batch of fries. Found this place one morning passing through Maysville, place looks great inside and out and they had a line to the door so I knew it must be good! I assume it is a husband and wife working the counter and grill, but they ran like a well oiled machine! Food is made to order with lots of choices. I ordered two B. E. &C biscuits thinking of somethung you might get at a fast food joint.....i was wrong these biscuits are big and they are good! My wife thought the same when ordering pancakes and she struggled to finish both. Friendly place, well ran, with great food and prices. Will stop again on my way...
