When we signed up with Harvest Hosts a few years ago, we envisioned places we could stop while traveling, but that also would be friendly, welcome places to visit along the way. Fion Wine Room is EXACTLY this and more. Let me explain: We arrived a half-hour before their posted closing time after a LONG drive across state on our way home. The owner greeted us at the door saying, "You must be tired after your long trip. Get settled and come on in, no rush. We stay open until you're happy." We ENJOYED generously-poured flights and bought a bottle of everything. The food was warm and wines/bourbons tasted wonderful. Not only this, but the owner sat down with us and chatted, making us feel welcome and comfortable with our stay. Very hospitable, friendly and professional. He knew his products when we had questions, and we had a lot! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Exceptional!...
Read moreThis is a nice peaceful place to practice your swing i have seen some improvements in the year I have learned to play this fun and challenging sport. I would how ever like to see a few upgrades i personally like the vending style but add one more machine and would it kill you to get new balls every year please. Oh and a putting green short game area theres no where close and id like to work sone bunker shots. I do love the yardage signs its a fun addition tho they aren't true yardage. A cool challenge to the public that tee off there could be fun to like a target that earns you something fun a hat or bragging rights and puon the wall of fame lol just some ideals be really the balls guys are horrible trow them away...

They had a great selection of wine to try - and the 4 choice flight lets you sample what you would like. The cotton candy wine and the strawberry jalapeño wine were favorites for sure; but honestly of the 12 we tried all together - they were all tasty. We also tried the bread and oil (would have preferred they serve it in a more shallow dish so you can get a mix of vinegar and oil rather then just the oil on top), the lava cake (yum!!) and the chocolates (delicious).
