An Unforgettable Evening of Pizza and Panoramas at Maxwell's
For a truly memorable date night, my girlfriend and I were drawn to the allure of Maxwell's Pizza and Rooftop Patio, and the experience exceeded every expectation. This was our inaugural visit, and it has set a new standard for us.
Nestled charmingly along the river, the establishment boasts a rooftop patio that can only be described as a hidden gem. The ambiance was simply perfect, with the gentle melodies of a live musician providing a beautiful soundtrack to the evening. With drinks in hand from the well-appointed patio bar, we soaked in the lovely view, a perfect prelude to the culinary delights that awaited.
And then came the pizza—the true star of the show. To say it was incredible would be an understatement. We ventured to try two of their specialty creations: the ethereal White pizza and the hearty, inventive Steak n' Taters pizza. Both were absolutely amazing, a masterful symphony of unique flavors and quality ingredients built upon a perfectly executed crust.

Read moreI've ordered a lot of pizza and other food from Maxwell's and generally find it very tasty, although it can't possibly compare to Benny's pizza in Marysville, it is good for Morgan county, even if their prices are a bit high. However, yesterday they offered a 50% discount on all pizza on national pizza day. It is understandable that they sold out but it is not understanding or acceptable that when asked if they would offer a raincheck, they laughed and then hung up. Maxwell owns a lot of business in McConnellsville and we spend on average, at least 500 bucks per month here. Never again! If they find it acceptable to laugh at their customers, I can never support this place again. Including the drive thru's and Blue Bell Diner. Adios Maxwell's, I will spend my money elsewhere...

I had to go to the bar to get our own drinks.Ordered a drink with Dr Pepper and was told afterwards that “yea we have been having problems with that” ok! Tell someone before they order it. Especially if Im not one to complain. Maybe we caught them on a bad night but dang. Then I specifically go for the monkey bread. Was told It was no longer available. I’m ok with that. But she said let me check. Came back and said they can make it and I end up getting garlic Parmesan bread. Very disappointed when we drove 45 just to go to. Sorry not sorry from one that...
