Subway — Restaurant in McKee

The Employee not working was sitting at the table couldn't help the manager because she was not on the clock and she already had 40 hours. In my opinion the manager should have said go ahead and clock in. Instead the employee that was sitting at the table called " I guess corporate or owner" and she said corporate would not let her start early because of overtime. I'm a customer and I heard this whole conversation go on before our eyes. The manager still did her job serving us, but the other employee sitting down should have helped. Was in there a few days ago and the usual middle aged ladies were not there. Two new younger employees were working that I have never seen before. Neither wearing masks. Ordered a cold cut combo and asked for deluxe which is 50% more meat. The young girl just placed another half slab of meat in the center of the sub. Usually the other lady cuts that in half long ways and spreads it out on the sub. Maybe thats just something extra she does but now im spoiled. The restaurant was clean and the employees were friendly but as food service workers I would expect...

We pointed to the meal of the day menu and said we wanted it as a foot long. So +$3. She said she hadn't prepped the meatballs yet but she could substitute a pizza sub for the same deal. Okay. The pizza sub turned out to be just a layer of pepperoni with some sauce. But the kicker was that when we went to pay, she didn't honor the meal of the day price. She charged us for two 6 inch subs. And pulled out two hand written "specials" to explain what she was charging us. Very bait and switch.
