Beach's Up North Tavern — Restaurant in McKinley Township

I came to Beach’s Up North Tavern with my family while vacationing in the area. My dad has been raving about the barbecue for a year since he’s temporarily working I close by. The chef and server were warm and accommodating. They had regulars at the bar on a Saturday afternoon, which was really nice to see.

We got the ribs, beans, mac and cheese, coleslaw for the adults. The kids had pizza and fries.

These ribs slid off the bone and were so delicious with the barbecue sauce. All the sides were delicious and we ate until we were stuffed. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone in the mood...

Amazing little spot. I had the chicken bacon wrap that was the best I have ever had....my boyfriend had the brisket burger that was huge and utterly delicious. The French fries were perfect and crisp... We had the dog so we could hang out in the back patio with him. The staff brought out a huge water with ice for our dog... Many tables, a bar set up and also games, horse shoes, beach volleyball. There is a stage so I would imagine live bands as well. This doesn't look like much when you drive by but...

Beach's Up North Tavern is a 5 star restaurant and bar. Jackson is the most amazing cook, I am very picky and Jackson accommodated my pickiness and now I can't get enough. John the owner is always directly involved and interacting with patrons taking care of any issue to make a relaxed fight free environment.
