Tao Rice Roll — Restaurant in McKinney

Upon reading the most recent negative reviews, my husband and I weren’t sure if we should just go to the Plano location instead but we decided to just go and try it out since they just opened. We ordered the Tradition, Tao, Eel and double egg pancake and everything was actually really good. The rice was warm and the fillings were nicely packed and delicious. I’ll say after my experience, don’t let the few negative reviews keep you from trying it out and perhaps give some grace to them as they are probably figuring it out. We were very happy with the food and service. We will probably come back whenever we crave this again! Glad they opened...

Absolutely the worst fast food opening I’ve ever experienced. We waited in line for 10 minutes while the staff and manager fumbled around, clearly untrained and overwhelmed. When we finally reached the counter, they told us it would take 45 minutes to make a single rice roll. That’s not just slow — it’s absurd. The team had no clue how to run a restaurant, and the lack of professionalism was glaring. Save yourself the frustration and skip this place until they figure out...

Absolutely love this Taiwanese rice roll spot! The rice rolls are fresh, perfectly wrapped, and packed with flavor — you can really taste the care in every bite. The fillings are generous and the combinations are super satisfying. Staff are friendly and patient, and the service is always fast. It’s become one of my favorite go-to breakfast places.
