Unida Pizza - Danville — Restaurant in Mechanicsville

We have ordered from here twice within the last week. Our first out was a large cheese pizza and a personal margarita pizza. The margarita pizza had a very long strand of hair in it making the pizza not edible. This past Thursday we ordered two pizzas once again and requested that they be cooked very crispy (because they are usually undercooked), they not only did not cook it very well, they completely undercooked it to the point of it not being edible even after we cooked it in our own oven. Needless to say, we ended up throwing it out and making dinner at home.

I called and spoke to Doug who stated that he guesses he would be the “manager” due to the manager and owner being unavailable. I explained to him the situation and requested that the owner contact me. The next day as I was at an appointment, the owner did call and say he would call me back due to me not being able to talk, which NEVER happened and I even waited for another day to go by and still nothing, thus resulting in this review. Good customer service goes a long way when dealing with customers, do not say you will do something and then not do it. As you can see, the pizza made it to the trash and we made spaghetti for dinner. My advice is to save the $$$ and make dinner at home… Stay...

We have encountered struggles with correctness of orders in the past, and tended to overlook because the food is always good. Tonight was unfortunately our final order with Unida Pizza- Danville.

Our order consisted of three subs, one being toasted/ cosmo, and the other two cold. Our order was incorrect when we arrived home, so I called immediately explained the issues with 2 of the 3 subs being wrong to the point they couldn't be eaten by the person they were intended for.

They offered to correct the two subs, so I drove back down to the restaurant (about 10 minutes each way) to pick up the corrected subs.

Being already leary of what we had gotten before, I checked the two "corrected" subs and they were WRONG AGAIN. I returned in the store, informed them they still were not correct, I did not want them made again, because I did not want to wait again.

We really enjoy Unida but the unnecessary waste of time, energy, and money to consistently have orders corrected...

Called and had an order delivered - A pepperoni pizza, a sub, and a salad - shouldn't have been too hard to fulfill but boy was I wrong. First of all when it was delivered the driver was not wearing a mask, second: the pizza wasn't pepperoni, and lastly the sub (which was supposed to be an eggplant parm) was missing the sauce and had maybe a single strand of cheese on it. Google maps could show this sub in place of any desert it was so dry. When we called to let them know they messed up our pizza, the manager told us "oh well we already made it" and that we were supposed to deal it with and had a definite attitude about it. We ate the dinner then called them back one more time and the manager said that they don't care that they messed it up and that they would not remedy the order. The 2 stars is because the pizza sauce had good flavor - the only positive about this order. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone after...
