Quantity of food is never consistent even though I order the same food. Prices increase on a whim. Store timings are inconsistent to their advertised hours. Used to give fork, spoon, and napkins. Now they have gone down to spoon only for carry-out orders (that’s what I’ve got last 3 orders from the owner himself). I understand it’s a family operated business but their long term growth is not going to be good if they keep providing this level of service.
Update 01/06/20: so I thought of trying this restaurant again after several months thinking they would have improved the service, but to no avail. As soon as I walked in (7:38 PM) I was told by the owner that they did not have any chicken. I tried ordering vegetarian dishes to which he told me that he was closing the restaurant for 1 hour to offer prayers. I am a man of faith myself but seems like this person does not want to serve customers or run business like normal. Besides I also saw dirty dishes lying on a table. I am starting to have serious doubts on their hygiene and their seriousness to...
Read moreI ordered through Grubhub 2 days ago & the food was amazing! I just got my 2nd order for pick up. The place was just a tiny bit confusing on how to find it, as it’s tucked in a corner behind the convenient store & beside Walmart. The exterior looked a little messy with some trash on the ground, but I was not discouraged. The interior looked like it could use a bit more art on the walls & maybe just a little cosmetic cleaning done, but the older gentleman that greeted me was very pleasant & friendly. I just finished half my food & OMG it’s so good! All of it! Between the 2 orders, I’ve tried veggie samosas, naan bread, saag with lamb and with cheese cubes, raita, and gulab jaman. All of it was excellent! I got 2 sauces too. I don’t know if they came with the naan or the samosas, but they were phenomenal! One of them had cilantro & maybe lemon or lime. It was one of the most flavorful things I’ve ever tried in my life. I will be back...
Read moreBombay is BACK IN ACTION! The lamb Biryani and chicken Biryani knocked it out of the park. As far as I know, this is the only Indian restaurant south of 192, and it does not disappoint!
This restaurant is more of a take-out place, but it did have several tables, and I came in with my two adult daughters to try their food. We were pleasantly surprised. I have hesitation on curry anything, but the Chicken Butter Masala was wonderful down to the last bite! Big enough to take some home, but I couldn’t resist! They both had a Biryani and very happy.
Whenever I review the ratings, I read through the most recent rather than the overall rating. Anything over a year could have been vastly improved. This little place is within a few miles from my home, so I decided to give it a try and was not...
