Copper Ridge — Restaurant in Mellen

Was greeted promptly upon our arrival. It was a Sunday and just before lunch. We met Bob who we found out later was the owner . Such a great guy. He is very friendly and welcoming. The food menu has plenty of options and my wife had the Indian tacos, which were delicious . I had the garlic parm bone in wings . Don’t skip the truffle fries , they are amazing . They have a good selection of beers and we had bloody Mary’s which were mixed perfectly . We were happy to meet Buddy the friendly pup to greet us on the back porch . We will definitely be back to see Bob and Buddy. We were just passing through, but would love to come back and stay locally . The rec trail runs right through town. Fuel, gas, food, and beer. All right here . I’d give them 10 stars...

I called and asked for their sampler of appetizers to go for 12.99, they informed me that it wasn't available....I asked what was and ended up ordering potatoe skins and cheese curds, called back and added broccoli bits, When I showed up to pay they told me it was 38.00. Food is never as it is ordered, get half of the food and when you make a comment about it, you get an attitude from the servers and asked what you want them to do about it after I was charged for it and never received it. It being in such a small community I would expect friendlier/homey atmosphere but it's definitely not. You walk in and the workers just stand around talking and they will look at you, if you don't get their attention they won't wait on you. I don't think me and my family will be ordering from there at least...
