Crumpy's Hot Wings on Third & Shelby — Restaurant in Memphis

Workers are very rude especially Kevin and so is the owner who does not even present herself when there is a problem at her establishment. Today, 06/13/24 I walked in the store with my nephew to get an order of wings for my family. Kevin and his coworker( an elderly man with a braided beard) who is barely competent, did not greet us even when it was time for me to order. Kevinhas been rude on a number of occasions even when I ubered. Today, 06/13/24, Kevin cursed me out after I asked him to place my receipt in my hand as I did him respectfully. I asked for refund and he wouldn’t give it to me until Manager Ross showed up who did not correct Kevin at all about his actions. I had to wait over 10 minutes for Ross to arrive at the store to try and process the refund. Ross asked for my name and number because the system was down for my refund. I told him if I didn’t get the issue resolved, I would make a report to the police and walked out the store. About two minutes later, Ross came to my car and said the system is working. WOW! On June 16 2018 I had one of the worst eating experience since living in Memphis.First I called in a 3 piece combo. When I got there, my order wasn't even being prepared. Then they did started AFTER I arrived at the store. So I watch them re drop some already cooked chicken. So after waiting on them to slowing work on my order while I'm the only customer in the store with no other tickets up. The man takes my chicken and it's obvious he doesn't know what to do so the lady comes over to help him and I watch her squirt water on my chicken. Before she add the seasoning. Now I know someone is going to say it was oil but why would you add extra clear as water "oil" to fresh chicken out of the grease? All you need is the seasoning. So I asked for my soda to go with my combo then I was forced to take some sweat tea that was served in a sample cup with a coffee lid. So after all of that I still gave the food a chance. IT WAS AWFUL!!!! The best item on the plate was the fries. I threw the order in the trash because I didn't think that food was fit for a stray dog! I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS STORE...

Me and my wife ordered a 100 party wings. We placed the order yesterday in advanced. We received our order to the surprise it was short 28 wings. It came in 2 carryout containers so my wife immediately said 'This don't look like a 100 wings'. THE WINGS WERE VERY SMALL! Usually an order of that capacity comes in an aluminum pan. This is completely unacceptable. I'm not sure what happened. I'm hoping that the cook was lazy and not management practicing shady business practices. When you spend your hard earned money with a business you expect to get what you paid for. PLEASE CHECK YOUR FOOD IF YOU PLAN ON EATING HERE.
