Today is 12/24/24 – Christmas Eve – and let me tell you, this is hands down the BEST Dixie Queen in the city. And I say that as someone who used to work for a Dixie Queen.

I haven’t had a Dixie Queen burger this good since 1997 – and that is NOT an exaggeration.

Even the presentation was solid, but I was too hungry to stop and take a picture. It was that good. I actually drove back around to get another sandwich.

And after that second sandwich, I drove back a third time just to find out who cooked it.

Her name is CANDICE – and she needs a raise. ASAP.

If you’ve seen my other reviews, you know I only post if something is either REALLY BAD or PERFECT.

This Dixie Queen was PERFECT. • No line wrapped around the building. • Food ready on time. • Clean parking lot. • Polite service at the window.

Whoever is working between 5:40 - 5:51 PM – they got it ON POINT. This location has their business IN ORDER.

Highly recommend. This spot is doing it right! NO CAP!

I only go there at night on my way home from work. Usually, my experiences are solid, but this most recent visit frustrated me, so I feel compelled to leave a bad review. I ordered a ten-piece honey hot wings with onion rings. A few days after the winter storm, it was still frigid outside. I picked up my order and went straight home without checking it, which was my mistake. They got my order wrong; I received a five-piece mild wings with fries instead.

Since I was hungry and it was too cold to return, I ate it anyway. The next day, I returned during the daytime because I got off work early. I asked if I could receive the other five wings I had ordered. I showed them a picture of my order and the charge on my debit card, which indicated that I had been charged for a ten-piece, as they don’t provide receipts.

The lady at the counter was rude and blunt. She said no, I should have reported the mistake that night. I explained that I didn't because it was cold outside. Still, she refused to accommodate my request. That's fine; I just considered that meal free because I disputed the transaction and got my money back.

I frequented this dixie queen often.I arrive at about 3:50am and tried to place an order at the walk up window and was told that they arr only accepting Door dash orders that way and I would need to come to the drive through. Even though I knew this wasn't the case, I placed an order in the drive-through anyway for a purple cow and side of fries. I was told by the same older woman that the could not make a purple cow and then I ordered a vanilla milkshake instead when I got to the window I was handed the drink with no lid and asked twice if the had one and the same woman ignored me,took my card, and shut the window in my face. When she opened it again with my fries and card in her hand, I asked again and had the window shut on me once more. So I sat and waited for her to come back and then asked for a refund. She claimed that I had an issue over the top, but my issue was having the window shut in my face twice when asking a question. Them running out of lids was no issue since I lived less than a mile away and was heading home after work. What she did was completely unnecessary and unprofessional.
