Fabulous Flavors & Friends Diner Restaurant — Restaurant in Memphis

I’ve waited a bit before making this review bc I wanted to have time to adequately describe just how amazing this place is . So first let me say , the reviews on here don’t do any justice for this amazing couple and their little gem right here in Memphis TN! When you walk in your greeted by chefs husband who is a breath of fresh air o tell you , friendly and professional service was his top priority and explaining their menu and helping me make a choice on what to order since there were so many amazing choices . As I waited for my pork chop , cabbage and peas with cornbread muffin we had amazing conversations about god , growth and the food business . They told me of their success , their lows and how far they have come TOGETHER ! Chef is a wonderful woman , STRONG AND a wonderful cook . She is fun and friendly , hardworking and she deserves recognition for her perseverance. I enjoyed her company as much as their food. Now to the food portion of my review . It’s freshly cooked to order . Chef battered my porch up is their seasoning and breading and fried it to perfection , the cabbage was savory and a perfect texture . Not soggy and not crunchy .. their peas were flavorful but not overly salty and their cornbread muffin was the kind that reminds you of grandma ! Sweet , with a crunchy outside and great paired with peas and the juice . Yummy ! Chefs husband was kind enough to give me a complimentary banana pudding and y’all … omg !!!! What in the worllddddd have I been missing lol 😂 it was perfect ! This place is nice , a small quaint hole in the wall mom and pop style restaurant that feels like family ! It feels welcoming and has lots of natural lighting , a 90s feel with their colorful art that was painted by them and the colors hold significant and sentimental meaning to our chef !! They both are delightful and I will be back again to share this experience . I am grateful to have met them and to have finally been blessed to try their food ! Hello our 1st time visiting was the other day. I loved the beautiful colors that are represented all throughout the restaurant. I love the fact that it's ran by a family and it is a beautiful black owned restaurant the chef and her husband as the owners were so accommodating, so hospitable and just more than nice and her cooking blew me out of the water I had the steak nachos they were so delicious the steak was tender and juicy and everything was so good and the husband when he was taking the order he made sure that everything was to our liking And I suggest You go give them a try it is definitely fabulous definitely have the flavors and a definitely were friendly!! I will be going back again and again the menu was so vast I'm going to get a chance to try whatever I can try can try 10 thumbs up....

I recently visited this place. It reminds me of an upgraded Waffle House and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. As a fan of Waffle House, I was excited to try out this place. The Pork Chop, Waffle, and Omelet that I ordered were all delicious and cooked to perfection.

The ambiance of this place is modern and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The service was kool. The cook/owners talked to us like we were family. This left a great impression.

Overall, I highly recommend checking out this place. Whether you're a person looking for a juicy burger or someone that wants breakfast, this place is definitely worth a visit. I will definitely be returning in the future to try out more of their...
