New China — Restaurant in Memphis

If I could rate in the negative numbers, I would. I placed my original order at 6:31 and was given an estimate of 30-45 minutes. At 7:43, I called to see what the status of my order was. I was told he was on his way and it would be 10 additional minutes. At 8:17, my food arrived. I paid and went inside. The sauce from my Mongolian beef was all over the inside of the bag and the other containers. We ordered the Mongolian beef, pork egg fu young, pork fried rice, 8 crab rangoons, and 10 fried dumplings. Everything, I repeat, EVERYTHING was ice cold. And I only received 5 and a half out of the 10 dumplings. Yes, a half. When I called at 8:23 to complain that everything was cold and I did not receive everything I ordered. I was told there was nothing they could do for anything but the fried dumplings. The manager offered to send out a new order and he promised they would be hot. When I called back at 9:42 because I still had not received the new order, I was told that they were busy and only had one cook and it was taking a while to cook. He told me that he sent them out the door of the restaurant 30 minutes before I called and ensured me that they would still be hot. I live 4 minutes from the restaurant. It is now 10:10 and they have still not arrived. I will never order from this place again. The food was subpar at best, and did not taste very good cold. My recommendation is to get in your car, walk, Uber, whatever you have to do, and go to C Fu on Knight Arnold. They have amazing food and...

I will say this about New China. They are definitely worth the price! They have sweet tea and lemonade. That is better than going to the grocery store to buy the bottle. Here is where IYKYK COMES TO PLAY IF YOU DRINK IT 1/4 DOWN AND ADD WATER IT WILL STILL TASTE THE SAME YOU’RE GETTING MORE FOR YOUR MONEY. My favorite thing to get is refried rice at three eggs it cost one dollar for each. When I say it’s well worth it. It’s well worth it if you go with the large add a total of five or pending on your protein, intake, fried dumplings or steamed dumplings, each is good if you want to try another restaurant and make comparisons you’re gonna be disappointed with other places versus coming here and they also have a spicy side to that menu. If you can’t handle the heat, don’t order it but overall, Customer Service is always nice and yes, they do have delivery on some days. I will also recommend that you check to make sure that they are open because if you order on the website, your order will go through, but if the business is closed, there’s nothing that...

Their service was terrible because I was not served. I called at 8:30, placed my order, and patiently waited for my supper to arrive. At 9:30, I recieved a call, believing it was my order arriving, but it was the place calling to let me know that my hotel was too far away. The woman that took my order assured me it would arrive in 30-45 minutes. The woman that called back said it was too far. The man I spoke to after calling back, said he didn't take my order and immediately attempted to pass me off to what he called his supervisor. Terrible service, 5 miles does not equal too far. Will never order again. Would have given a $20 tip, if my order actually came. Only reason I'm writing this is because I could have ordered something else in the hour it took these idiots...
