Cowboy up needs an update with their music selection. There are no new songs that are being played. I was expecting to hear some songs that are currently on the radio that have line dances too. The past couple of times I’ve been there is not a big coward. I feel like it may be due to the music and the music is not very loud either, so it sounds dead. I had to request multiple times for the Dj to play a Morgan Wallen song. There is a diverse age group with some early 20s, 30s, 50+ and the music is mostly for targeted towards the older generation which I understand line dances vary with song generation, but there is no current songs for the younger generation to dance to causing the dance floor to be empty.

I first heard murmurs about Cowboy Up in an amateur adult tap class that I took for the bit.Ā  The tap community was adamant that Cowboy Up was THE place to be on Friday and Saturday nights.Ā  After a few months wasted in pre-contemplation, I finally gathered the courage to get out there and see what was really what.Ā  Let me tell you what: it rocked my world!!Ā  Each dance was a delight, and I was so tickled to spend the night in sparkly cowgirl bliss.Ā  The environment was the perfect setting for low-stakes drama, flirtation, and gossip among friends, lovers, and strangers.Ā  Thanks for re-invigorating my relationship to dance and to good old fashioned fun.Ā  I will be back.

A group of my friends and i went here for a night out hoping it would be fun. It was a friday night, and surprisingly pretty dead. We grabbed a table and decided on food, it took 25 minutes before we could get any service, and the waitress we did manage to get ahold of referred us to a waitress at the next table. We finally ordered drinks and all, the waitress takes it and says she'll be right back with our drinks. About 35 minutes later we get our food, and no drinks. 15 minutes later we finally get our beverages and we're all good. In the next 45 minutes the waitress had come to check on the table next to us almost every 10 minutes, but had not checked on us at all. We finish our food, and decide to order one more thing and a pitcher of water, she finally pays attention to us and says nothing will keep her from getting our water right away. We sat there for 25 minutes watching her stand around and talk to other people that are not there to eat at all, and she constantly got distracted. So i decide to take it upon myself to go to the bar and ask for a pitcher of water. At that time my waitress noticed i was impatient and at the bar and finally decided she could get it, so i got back to my table with the water and she comes not even 5 minutes after with another pitcher. At this point i was fed up and ready to leave. At the end of the night i went pay the bill at the bar because i couldnt find our server at all. Even then i stood at the bar for 15 minutes before i got helped. The bartender had to track down my waitress so i could pay my bill. Needless to say she didnt get a tip from me, and i feel i had a good reason not to. This establishment will never be getting my business again. If the improve their wait staff,...

I have been wanting to come here for years to learn to line dance and have a great time. My husband finally agreed to come with me for our first date night that we've been able to have in quite some time. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience while there and left within 30 min. The atmosphere was wonderful and we had such a fun time trying to keep up with the instructor before the lesson started. The parking lot was muddy and unfortunately we were unaware that my husband's shoes had tracked mud in and some dried dirt got on the dance floor. The people there (I do not know if they were staff or if they were guests) made a HUGE deal about the dirt that was on the floor. Once my husband noticed it he immediately got off the dance floor and went to the bathroom to scrub his shoes. People were so rude and made horrible comments about how could someone get dirt on the floor. One person even said "I don't even wear my boots outside". If that was the policy it was never posted or mentioned at anytime. Regardless, we put ourselves out there, already vulnerable as this was our first time attempting line dancing, and we felt shamed and humiliated because some dirt was accidentally tracked onto the floor. Unfortunately because of this experience we will not be returning. I do want to thank the instructor who was so kind and heard all of the complaining about the dirt and made a comment that sometimes that happens. I am very disappointed as I was really looking forward to this time together and to getting to learn how to line dance as it is something I have always...

Up until last night 5/4/24, we have been enjoying our weekends with Cowboy up and the amazing staff. The instructors are super friendly and helpful as are most of the patrons. Last night was the first time we had issues with other patrons, a group of younger females pushed us out of where we were sitting and moved our stuff then gave us dirty looks when we made a comment about it. The second issue was that the owners did not want to turn the air on while the lessons were happening. It was super muggy outside which made it worse inside. It made it very hard to justify the $8 cover charge when we couldn’t enjoy ourselves. Because of how humid and hot it was inside the building, we had to leave early because it made me super sick. I understand as a former business owner that there are overhead costs and the importance of keeping those costs low, but as a regular patron to your establishment I was very disappointed. It will not stop us from enjoying our time but please be mindful of your loyal patrons who have health conditions as the temperatures start rising. Had I not got cooled down quickly, it could have resulted in a heat stroke. We love going to your lessons and would hate for anything bad to happen to any customer because of how hot...
