Gibby's — Restaurant in Mendon Township

It had been about a year since we went to this restaurant to eat. At that time the food was pretty good. Well this time it was a whole different experience. We were told when we got there that it would be about an hour if we wanted chicken, granted they were busy. Well it took the waitress quite some time to ask us what we wanted to drink. Came back with the drinks and we told her to give us few minutes to figure out what we wanted to order. Well some time later she came back and we ordered. Two of our party did order chicken. So the wait was on. In the mean time the waitress never came back to our table to see if we needed a refill on our drinks. We finally had to flag her down. Fast forward, we got our food. Potato wedges were cold as were the baked potatoes. My friend from California ordered a rib eye steak. Well it didn’t even resemble a rib eye steak. I ordered fish. Good? Not so much. My fiancée ordered chicken. It was fair. Green beans came as a side ,they were simply horrible. I did notice something else. If your not a regular or a local don’t expect good service. I don’t intend to go back here to eat again. So have at it Mendonites...

I would give less stars if possible. I understand being busy on a friday night, but this was little irritating.Sat for over 10 minutes before even approached by anyone. Waitress took our drink order, brought our drinks a few minutes later, took our order when she gave us our drinks. After sitting for over an additional half hour, we watched 3 other tables come in, get drinks, appetizers, and their food, within minutes. After approaching our waitress, our food was immediately brought out to us. And again, the waitress disappeared. I will say the food was good, but would have been better if it had been brought out when it was done. My hamburger was a variation of hot, cold, and warm. The bacon was cold, the grilled onions were hot, the cheese was barely warm, and the burger itself went from lukewarm, to warm. Sadly, they have lost patronage from us. We will not be...

My Grandma, two of her friends, and I went for dinner here. We got our drinks and ordered two sandwiches......and proceeded to wait almost an hour for our food. Our waitress passed our table twice, refusing to make eye contact with us while she was chatting it up with the other tables. We flagged her down the third time to ask her what was taking so long and she came back with an answer of 10 more mins for our food, which was a grilled ham and cheese and a hogie. We decided to go home and asked the waitress for our check. When she came back with our check she said here and threw the check at us before running off to another table.
