Went here for the first time today and it was DELICIOUS! Very generous portions. My burger was cooked perfectly and made with fresh ground beef. The burger bun is homemade so the flavor was perfection. Lots of fresh cut fries and light and crispy onion rings. The kids portion of chicken fingers and fries for 6.99 would feed 2 children. The 4 fingers were very large! Our waitress Hannah was so pleasant and professional. They’ve only been open 3 months. When we were leaving the parking lot was filling up quickly. The only issue I have is the odor of the facility. I don’t know what purpose the building had before but there is a strong moldy stale air odor even though the air conditioning was going full blast. There were two employees that are assets to this business. The young man who seated us and a lady who went beyond to treat us well. Beyond that, everything else was disappointing. I've seen coffee tables longer than the buffet where the entree items were presented. The food was cold and the selection was limited. Where the fried chicken was supposed to be there was one scrawny wing in the container. I asked an employee if there would be more chicken on the way and she mumbled something about the fryer and went on about her business. I was thoroughly disappointed with the Thanksgiving buffet today (11/23/2023). I've had better turkey dinners in school cafeterias. I did not see anything resembling a turkey. Just chunks of meat in liquid brings to mind canned turkey. Not sure which planet the mashed potato came from, and gravy was the consistency of egg drop soup. The sweet potato with pecan topping was decent. The restaurant bit off more than they could chew , packed to the brim, tables not bussed, ran out of clean plates. The staff was obviously overwhelmed.
