Rooster's — Restaurant in Menno

I usually leave rave reviews or no review at all. This will be an exception. When I asked for confirmation that the staff (owner?) directed us to sit on the unlit side of the room, he snapped his repeated directive. (He would turn on the lights). He continued to be rude and disinterested through our meal, tossing requested straws on the table like dice and otherwise ignoring us in favor of the locals in their regular spot near the bar. We would have exited before being served, but my 91 year old mother-in-law was having a somber day and can't move fast. We had planned our day around trying this place, which was near our business in Olivet, far from any other eatery, so we endured.

Had a family reunions of 21 we were seated promptly and waited on mediately. I had the chislic on the menu and it was done really nice.
