This bar has always been our go to place for Friday fish fry and sadly was pretty disappointed this time around. We went early to beat the crowd, around 3:30pm and to our surprise it was already pretty busy. We waited about 10 minutes for the waitress to come over, no big deal, there were a few other tables she was waiting on. Got our drinks and she took our order. After sitting awhile we noticed she was waitressing and bartending, and running her butt off. She did the best she could and kept a great attitude, not sure I could’ve. We waited an hour to get our food. And when it came out, it definitely was not as good as it normally is. We all were a bit disappointed to have had to wait so long and then the food not being what we expected. I know things happen and I really hope this was a fluke, as I said this is our go to. But if this was our first time, we wouldn’t be returning for sure . We will have to decide if we want to give it another try. Props to the waitress/bartender for sure. It seemed more staff came in around 445ish to help her out. Maybe they need to reconsider their...
Read moreVisiting Wisconsin for Air Force testing and decided to come here for dinner taking a chance on a small sports bar and it was one of the best food decisions I’ve made. The food was outstanding, I can’t stress enough how good this food was here. I got the boneless wings with half garlic Parmesan and half buffalo and it was the best garlic sauce I’ve had on wings ever. I also got an order of there pretzel sticks and those were cooked perfectly, in my experience pretzel sticks are most of the time overcooked or super super oily but these ones were perfectly crispy and perfectly soft on the inside. The bartender was a younger gal and was super super friendly with us and super friendly with everyone that was there. She was talking to some of the regulars there like they were good friends and constantly checking on everyone and making sure we were all taken care of. I would 10/10 recommend this place and definitely make the 5 hour drive for...
Read moreWhile waiting to pick up our truck at Gordie Boucher, my husband and I stopped in here for lunch. The U-shaped bar was pretty full by noon, but we found two seats near the video gambling. My husband got the chicken tenders, and I ordered the chicken ranch wrap in a spinach wrap. Unfortunately, they were out of spinach, so the bartender ordered me the plain because she advised that the tomato was not very flavorful. The wrap was delicious and nicely sized, albeit a little salty. My side of sweet potato fries were very good. No ketchup needed. This spot is on a road mainly comprised of housing, so pay attention, or you might miss it. You won't want to either, as it's a great spot full of friendly patrons and nice...
