Scenic Riverwood Bar — Restaurant in Mentor Township

Been stopping in there for 50 years and will continue for more years to come. Always nice people, pretty decent food, cold beer & a hot wood stove fired up to warm your bones on a cold day after your outdoor activities. Great out of the way place for a few cod ones definitely!!! My kinda place whether on the dirt bike, the Harley, snowmobiles, fishing, hunting, canoeing or just a ride in the truck! So it has been a while, but my Grandma was known locally as Aunt Vi. When I came to Michigan to visit, we came down to the bar to have PBR on tap and some good bar food too. In really miss McKinley, but what I really remember is all the love everyone had for my Grandma. She passed away in 2013, but I'm sure many locals will remember her. This is a lovely little town and if you're canoeing or snowmobiling near here, stop by for a beer and tell them Aunt...

Even prior to living in Mio, Mi, the Scenic was a "destination point"...with the turn over of "owners..cooks...bar tenders and waitresses", the food is still quite good for a "bar in the woods"...I'm going to rate it a "4"...stop in and have a meal & a drink , to see for...
