Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Meridian

Yesterday me and my wife ordered ahead on the Dariy Queen app and we were severely disappointed. We ordered two FlameThrower burgers, one a double, the other a triple, a basket of chicken tenders, and a medium Puppy chow peanut butter Blizzard that was part of a combo. We ordered the burgers with extra Tabasco Mayo (FlameThrower sauce) and extra lettuce, the Blizzard with extra puppy chow, we did not get that. We checked one of the burgers right after we got our food that was on the top, in the bag. We could look the other way on the no extra lettuce but asked for a side or two of Tabasco Mayo since we didn’t see extra sauce. The employee then goes to the back to ask for it, and comes back empty handed and goes to where they keep their Buffalo sauce and puts its on the counter saying “It’s made with this so…” and just stares at us. As being in a hurry because we were going out of town said to our selves “We don’t have time for this” and left. As we drove from there and got our food out to eat neither one of the burgers was a triple and there was only one slice of cheese on each burger. Since that was disappointing we decided to start with the Blizzard. We had a few pieces of puppy chow on the top and was enjoying it at first but after the first 1/4 of the blizzard there was seemingly no more puppy chow. As we continued eating it we only got like 4 more pieces of puppy chow. In total it was like 8 pieces of puppy chow total for a medium puppy chow Blizzard with extra puppy chow, so that was another disappointment. We then checked the chicken tender basket and the “toast” wasn’t even toast it was buttered bread thrown in the box. Over all a really poor experience. We really like Dairy Queen but this wasn’t the par me and my wife come to expect. Especially considering money is tight, expecting something we like to be good and paying money for extra stuff we did not get...

Rolled through the drive-thru, 2-medium blizzard's and a peanut buster parfait.

Given two blizzard's that are exceeding the cup by 1-2". As soon as I receive the cups they start dripping on me. I try to ask for ANYTHING for containment and the window slammed. I quickly ate some off the top of both to maybe get some relief. Nope, it's all over car and me.

Dude comes to the window and barks "just waiting on your parfait", I try to respond but the window slams.

There's more than 5 people inside the window talking and jacking around on their phones as I'm frantically trying to eat blizzard.

Dude comes back and shoves my parfait towards me, I try to slow roll him and ask for a lid and napkins. He tries haphazardly to acknowledges but drops one set of lid±spoon+napkins out the window, then he tosses the second spoon+napkins towards me, they fall to the ground, he closed the window as I stare, and I then rolled away amazed.

I sat in the drivethru for 20+ minutes in a small car to have a shot at a Sunday afternoon dessert for the kids. I don't expect much, but for $30+ I don't expect to bed be treated like a burden. Especially when y'all are just hanging around on...

April 2025... Welp here we are again... Ordered a small caramel pecan blizzard, was given a half empty cup with what looked like to be only vanilla ice cream. Asked the kid, "where's the rest" to which kid responds, yeah, there was an accident in the kitchen... ok, we hear the machine whirring, comes back, hands a FULL cup of vanilla ice cream, maybe 4 pecans, not even full pieces, no caramel, and no chocolate sauce, pieces, no chocolate what so ever. I ordered a choco brownie extreme blizzard, please add mint. Told ok, I got chocolate on the top, vanilla in the middle, a few nibbles of brownie and wait for it....

NO MINT!!

Come on guys, you can do SOOOOOOO much better. You've been there at least a year, pretty sure it's the same kid that did this last year, but I didn't get a receipt, so I couldn't tell you!!! 🤦‍♀️🙄

March 2024: Three strikes!! No receipt No flip of the Blizzard Failed to MIX the blizzard

There were so many kids (obnoxious teenagers) in this place they could be heard while ordering in the drive thru.

Such a disappointment. I've been looking forward to this blizzard (mint brownie) literally...
