As with most local businesses, this business is under staffed and the employees are overwhelmed/overworked by the extra workload they endure. I recommend that you call ahead and make a reservation so that they can plan accordingly. We had a reservation, but still had a wait in the bar area, but it was well worth it. The cheese curds and potato skins were some of the best appetizers we have ever had anywhere and made from scratch. Friday night fish fry and we had perch which was 3 pieces and cod which was 2 pieces. It came with your choice of potato along with salad or coleslaw. Everything tasted great including the before dinner drinks. The bloody mary was awesome. The environment brought back memories when I was little and every Friday night my parents would go to the numerous supper clubs around the area. There was no fancy fluff just good wholesome food, spirts and candle lit tables. These supper clubs are now dwindling. We've tried this place out multiple times now. Ordered different items each time. Every single time we were left with food that was, in all honesty, not great. The last time we were there I ordered the Chicken Breast with Cheese Sauce. Thinking it would be some homemade sauce of some sort. But, no, it was literally a plain-jane chicken breast with a cup of the nacho cheese out of a bag. I really couldn't believe this was even a thing on the menu. Would love to try this place out again if there are some menu changes down the line. The staff were nice but there has been many mistakes, this time and others, where we had gotten wrong items or members of our party didn't receive food at all. We were not impressed. We waited a little more than five minutes before someone asked if we needed assistance. There was one occupied table of six at the time. The waitress only came to the table once after we finally received our meals. The meals themselves were average and not over the top that I expected for a $72 bill. Then it took almost fifteen minutes to get our bill. This is even after another staff member asked if we were ready for it.
