Cisco's Taqueria y Cantina — Restaurant in Merrillan

Food is good, but the new waitress who’s dating the manager needs more training, and they need to put her kids someplace else. I used to like coming here, but since they’ve turned it into a daycare center the environment is too chaotic to enjoy ourselves.

I’ll probably be going to take out, but I don’t like it when I have to place an order with the old lady. She always says it will be ready in 15-20 minutes, but most of the time it isn’t ready when I get there, and I have to spend 10 minutes correcting my bill with her because she can’t read the prices, or...

Small place but food was great. Walked in and was instantly greeted. Sat ourselves and menus were promptly brought over. Was offered chips and salsa. Chips were good, salsa was good but not my favorite but I’m picky about salsa. Ordered tacos (2.50 each). Carne asada was flavorful, carnitas were cooked well. A good amount of meat on the street size tacos. Server was attentive and checked on us appropriately—even offered us the “house salsa”. Careful though, it’s hot :)...

We stayed in Merrilian for the night and decided to eat at Cicso's Taqueria and Cantina. The staff were very friendly and attentive, always asking if we needed anything. we ordered and the food was delievered very quick. We ordered tamales-steak burrito-shredded chicken burrito-carne asada-and side of rice. The food tasted amazing, it had great flavor, it was hot when it was brought to the table-i would recommend this...
