Jay Gee's Ice Cream and Fun Center — Restaurant in Methuen

I went to a graduation party here. The room for parties is fairly well sized with plenty of seating and table room. An employee came in and cut the graduates' cake and served it, which was helpful. The ice cream cake was delicious.

The arcade is what you'd expect out of a newer arcade. Much in the vein of a Dave & Busters, you need to obtain a game card to put credits on. You can buy 20 credits for $5, but there's a $1 processing fee for new cards. Some of the games cost 20 credits, which means if it's your first and only time going, you're spending $6 to play a single game, which is kind of crazy. A little too expensive for my taste, especially if you're looking to play multiple games. A lot of the games are newer ticket earners, but if you're looking for classics there are a few ski ball machines and the ever enjoyable "throw balls at the clowns" game.

Aside from the arcade you can enjoy mini golf, bumper boats, and go carts- these seem to be the draw. You need to purchase a card for these also, but you can save the cards and use them at...

I sat on one of their picnic tables to eat my sundae and people-watch! Lol... 😁🤷‍♀️ Unfortunately there was a family with lots of unruly kids running, jumping, screaming & wrestling in the picnic table area where I was sitting. The picnic table area is a small area mainly for people to sit and eat their ice cream or whatever! Definitely not enough room for kids to be doing what they were doing! Don't get me wrong, I love kids... I have 3 of my own but I wouldn't allow that kind of behavior especially around a bunch of paying customers! Other than this my experience was good! Lol... 😁😆👍

This place is great spin zone bumper cars are awesome my daughter loves them go karts are great mini golf is great bumper boats are okay even though the pool is really small. The arcade is really fun too and they have a good variety of games the only issue with this place is that the prizes that they offer at the redemption center for the arcade, there is nothing good to choose from, like at all the only teddy bear prizes they have are tiny cheap little bears. My daughter won 4,000 tickets and there was literally nothing for her to even spend them on.
