From the outside through the service to the food itself this place is just not good and it really is a case you can judge this book by it’s cover

We had the cioppino and steak tips. The cioppino had a lot of seafood in it but that’s the extent of the good I can say about it. The seafood despite the chefs initial claims is not fresh. He later admitted the crab and lobster are frozen. It also just wasn’t a cioppino to begin with. You cannot completely change the base flavors of a dish serving it with a mild buttery saffron sauce instead of the hearty zesty tomato wine broth it should be served in and still call it cioppino. This was not worth the $40 they charge by any stretch

The steak tips were under done served medium rare instead of medium well. They didn’t taste good either and the sides were served cold

The server was friendly but often disappeared for long stretches of time

There also appeared to be others associated with the restaurant in some way going in and out of a back door to the outside regularly. I’m assuming to smoke but who knows these...

This place is quickly becoming a favorite spot. The staff is top notch. They make you feel welcome, at home, and completely satisfied. The food is amazing, especially the lobster roll. The bar pumps out amazing drinks too. With pricing going through the roof at most places this place has very fare pricing and I never worry about the bill here. Myself and the company I bring to this restaurant are always impressed with the food and we tried most everything on the menu. I highly recommend visiting this place, you will not be disappointed. If I had to say one negative about this place is that it is a little dated and the bathrooms are apart of the hotel. But the food, staff, and drinks make up for the negative. bartenders were so rude!!!! we had a big retirement party and pretty sure they were banking off of it but told us we had to end it early because they had bingo um ok so we moved to a different section. mind you the bar section is a tiny area, a couple guys came up to me to say goodbye then all of a sudden a blue hair lady started yelling to clear the pathway. so i mentioned it to another coworker about it and another lady behind the bar threatened to kick us out if we kept talking about her coworker lol ridiculous how they acted towards us. they also yelled “shut up” because they couldn’t hear the bingo numbers, lol we’re at a BAR! i highly suggest not to go here! yeah im sorry i felt that way too and fyi one person spilled one drink and it was our people...
