Honest review here. Went on a Saturday afernoon around 5pm. Good music.Clean area, bounce house for the kids, pony rides and horse rides. Now the food was extremely over priced and very bad. Everything we got was COLD and tasteless. Even the empanadas. How do you even go wrong with the aji (sauce) it was full of liquid and no spice whatsoever. The meat was as dry as the limes. I had to to return my plate because it was so cold that it smelled bad. They took it back and literally warmed it up and brought back the same food. The food should be served on real dishes with real silver wear . Forks and knives are too soft for cutting that kind of food. Valet parking is a joke! We parked our own car and once we were inside the restaurant we were still asked to pay for valet. They took our keys and moved our car from the shaded area we had parked it at and park it under the sun. Once we were about to leave we were all waiting by the car (since the car was closer to where we were seating) the valet guy came and made us WALK back to the entrance of the restaurant saying he had to deliver the car over there! Ridiculous , no valet is needed anyway! They do have a Tejo game area, for those who know what game that is but they charge a dollar per mecha and you must bring your own tejo, sure! Go to Tejo's Authority and pick one up on the way there! Will not be back for sure! Don't waste your money going...
Read moreThis place is overpriced. It's in an industrial area but they charge for food and drinks like it's Doral or Brickell. They charge for parking during special events. The food price is outrageous. It's like price gouging. We had an appetizer that had fries, potatoes, chicharron, and fried pieces of chicken. Something you would order at Chili's for $15 came out to $35. We then ordered a chorizo with arepa. Something that should be around $6-7 came out to $12. Beers are $6 and up. Water is $3. There is no free water. Every time you order, you have to pay first. Their literally treating this like a nightclub. But there's more. Every time you swipe your card, you get a service charge. And they want you to add a tip to the bill. I'm not sure how long they have been in business, but this can't seem like a good recipe to success. Forgot to mention, bathrooms are dirty and smell of urine. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the service was good. Hopefully the owner reads this. It's a great concept but there is much more to do and fix to...
Read moreThe space and location is awesome, but the service is horrible due to the worst management I ever seen. We went for a World Cup game with reservations; waited over an hour to get something as simple as water and a bucket of Coronas because they sold out of Águilas. What Colombian restaurant sells out of aguilas?!?! Our food arrived 2.5 hours later. All that was available was picadas and poorly cooked empanadas. Tv service crashed temporarily and we had to watch on cellphones. Clearly the were unable to support the amount of people. The little bit of food served, was greasy and of poor quality. Many skipped out on the bill, not because they were bad Colombians, but because there was a total breakdown in management. They are lucky someone didn’t catch heatstroke or a caused trouble out of frustration. The space has tremendous potential, but will fail if they don’t overhaul their service immediately. It’s sad. People like places like this And want to support fellow Colombians, but chances are, this Colombian will...
