It's a shame to have invested so much money into a beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere and to have overlooked the food and service. But even the aesthetics were poorly thought out. Why put in a bar that is so deep you can't have a brief conversation with the bartender to order your food? The deafening music was no better. Is this a nightclub or restaurant/bar? I had the salmon, it was cooked very well, but the Cajun seasoning was overpowered with salt, and the potato was no better. The baked potato was brown as though it had sat in a warming oven all day long. The salad came out limp, watery, and brown. It overflowed a tiny bowl and was garnished with two grape tomatoes, nestled under the heap of lettuce. The croutons were either stale or soggy, not sure why, but probably used a dump-and-combine method of storage. The service was terrible, not necessarily at the fault of the bartender but of poor bar organization. The staff was not knowledgeable about the menu at all! The bartender was waiting on a full bar and covered the floor, too! I asked that my salad come before my meal, not one, not twice, but at least three times. Guess when they brought it? That's right- with my meal. I was starving and traveled all day, so I just ate it, with much coercion of my kidneys and heart. They should use the salmon as a salt block for cattle.
Come on, Indigo! I know it's not a big city and Expectations need to align with the area market and talent pool, but this was a huge fail. Next time, less hype on the roll out and focus efforts more on what you want to sustain your customer base for a restaurant. You know, food and service.
My meal, tip, and martini were about 40$. I would suggest trying a business model with less risk. Such as, cheap bar food with high profit margins and catering to a clientele that would find it acceptable with poor service and quality. Don't try being something that you can't be. What's the old saying? "You can take the trash out of the trailer". We all know that Indigo (although my favorite) is the armpit of casino resorts in the area. They should probably embrace it rather than try to change it unless they invest (a lot of money) into a strong transformational change team. And, when I say that, I don't mean someone's cousin who is a part of the tribal leadership. For many of us, this is a great little getaway for a long weekend or extended stay during remote work. I hope that...
Ā Ā Ā Read morestaff is very rude. our waitress seemed to be having a very bad day.
we ordered the chicken strips and baked potato. the potato was so hard, its wasn't eaten. we also ordered the taco bowl and they put a vinegar in it that tasted terrible and there was so much of it, it soaked the bowl to where it was soggy and couldnt be eaten.
I told the waitress and she took the taco off my bill and replaced it with a pretzel and added a pretzel on the bill. we didn't eat anything but the strips and half a pretzel.
We continued to play at the casino and was so hungry from not eating that we decided we would try them again, this time we ordered a burger meal and we asked for ranch for the fries.
We were called back to pick up our food but we didn't get our ranch, so I nicely asked the girl at the counter up front for some and she rolled her eyes and walked off...I assumed she went to get it so I waited.
I waited so long I decided to set down at a game to watch for her. I waited so long there that I walked back up to ask someone else and thats when she walked in from the bar side and handed it to me, no "here you go" or "thank you", she just walked off.
she acted like I really put her out to get ranch.
The burger and fires were really good. I dont recommend the taco bowl or baked potato and I dont recommend anyone that likes friendly staff to eat there.
We were disappointed because we had been planning this dining experience...
Ā Ā Ā Read more!st time called to order and pick up. Said no pick up orders right now and we had to come inside, restaurant and order, and then you would have to wait. So we did not go.. The second time we called the resturant (cause the 1st time she said they were not taking orders now we thought they might be a werk later)the number had been disconnected (guess they got tired of people wanting to go orders) So we called the main number at indigo sky She said they weren't taking orders. That you had to come to the restaurant and order it. If you wanted it to go. Which I think the concept of this is that you will play while you're waiting and they're making money off of you to play She also said that they don't deliver to the rooms either. So we did go in and an order, but we were getting ready to leave and we had 2 hours away. When we got back with our food, he had ordered three chicken wing orders and we only had one order. When we got back home While you're at the counter, it does feels chaotic. Between the noise of the machines and the waitresses standing behind the counter chatting it was hard to hear. Anyway, that is my experience a lot of work to be done on...
