So I'm not sure how their food is but I DO know their customer service doesn't even deserve a half star, if a person is buying anything from there, they should be waited on in the order in which they arrive...well Randy's diner doesn't believe that..they will make you wait and wait until all the people who actually are buying food gets done ordering first before they take the order of someone who is buying a coffee (or 2)...its straight B.S. how do they know that I'm not gonna order food with my coffee?? I'm still a PAYING customer, and I refuse to have to sit and wait for everyone else to order before I get waited on...at $3.00 a cup of coffee, in a month think about how much that is, if I buy a coffee everyday... it may not seem like much to them, but it adds up everyday... in 30 days I'd have spent $90.00. Umm I believe I should be waited on in the order I arrive, if not then I'll take the advice of the lady who is running it this way...and I'll get my coffee somewhere else...and I usually buy a coffee EVERY DAY...from there..if you ask me, I would consider this discrimination...maybe I will check into that, money is money..it shouldn't matter how much I spend each day to get relatively good service. If I just get my usual a coffee, IM STILL SPENDING MONEY...If it doesn't change, I WILL NOT EVER GO BACK... #FACTS #OVERTHEDISCRIMINATION #ALLMONEYSPENDS #EVERYPENNYSPENTISAPAYINGCUSTOMER #SHOULDN'T...
Read moreIf you enjoy eating some pretty good breakfast food, and like the option of sitting inside, or outside at picnic tables, Randy's is a great option. They're only open till 1:00 p.m., though they do open very early at around 5 a.m., I believe. I just wish they were open longer in the afternoon. My favorite dishes include, for breakfast, the Diner Mess, which is a mash up of hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy, eggs, and sausage; and for lunch, the Fuzzy Sandwich, which is scrambled eggs, bacon, pepper jack cheese, American cheese, fried green tomatoes, and fried bologna, on Texas toast or rye bread. I know it sounds like a heart attack in sandwich form, but it's absolutely delicious! Friendly service, if occasionly a tad slow. But...
Read moreI was very disappointed for the third time in a row. The Half Diner Mess was about one cup of food. It cost $13 and they added their own tip, which was more than 15% for doing no work other than putting it in a to-go bag. Why should I be charged for a 20% tip on a to-go order when I didn't have a waitress and if I did, 15% would be expected for good service? I normally tip 30% because I've worked in the service industry. It included 1/2 of a small biscuit. I didn't see or taste any bacon. Maybe a teaspoon of cheese. Maybe 2 tablespoons of hash browns. Again I gave them 3 tries this year. Unfortunately I won't be back and I'll be sharing my experience to...
