The Country Club of Harrisburg — Restaurant in Middle Paxton Township

I had my wedding here. The location and building are beautiful. However all the planning and talking with the event coordinator months prior to the wedding were useless. It took forever just for us to get ahold of the event coordinator. And when I finally got agold of him it was because I went to his manager. Things were being done in ways that we said we didnt want them. We wanted a cash bar the cocktail hour and reception. During cocktail hour they were telling our guests that it was an open bar. We spent $650 on our cake, we asked them to only cut what they needed for the guests. They cut the entire cake and 50% of it was thrown away by the staff. We also had items missing the next day when we went to pick up our decorations. If I could do it all over again I would definitely pick a different venue. The food was great but the staff...

One of very few still private country clubs around. Love all staff and member's. Very welcoming! And swim team coach is the best around. Golf course is amazing, and chef introduces his self and explains everything. Beautiful views of river and mountains. And BEST 4TH OF JULY PARTY!!!!...
