We came here a few years ago, but missed them by a few hours or a day , I forgot. Anyhow we were on vacation in the Poconos, and if ya been there you know good places to eat are far n few. Now we ventured up to Tom X pub this time after checking the hours, and verifying they would even be open. You can check the menu on Google maps also, or the website too. So we get there , it's a nice place, they have ample parking. We walk in, and there's some music playing, everyone (customers)seem happy, they have a nice bar too. We are greeted promptly, and as a family of 5 we are seated. Our waitress was very friendly, we sat in a back room with tables of a decent size to accommodate us all. A utensil set was brought to the table a little before our drinks arrived. Our waitress was a really nice lady, really friendly. She actually didn't just take our order, she actually took the time to talk to us, it was nice to see she cared about who she was serving. Hmm refreshing like my Yingling o. Tap she brought to my table which was cold as ice, and sent a shivering feeling that was oh so pleasing. Can I have more? But let me tell you about the food, yes I took pics lol. The kids order from the kids meal, and there food was good. My wife ordered the Crab Cake meal, I ordered the Fish sandwich ( name slips me right now), and my son had the Chicken Parm. You will see from the pics the Chicken Parm needed more sauce, or sauce period, so my son asked. That came promptly. My wife's crab cakes were delicious, i managed to sneak a peace off her plate lol. My Fish sandwich was nice, and very tasty, but dry ..... How do they say that in the south ... driiiiiieeeehhhh .. So I promptly asked for some tarter sauce, knifed on a light amount, and that was all the difference. My friend... we were all smiles at this table tonight. Shoot, even my water was good lol. Would I come back?... Yes sir or mam, you better believe it. I'd love to come back, and throw down a appetizer, or a nice Yingling or similar. (I'm no heavy drankar). I would say this would also be a nice motorcycle food destination. Photos below. Cause I know y'all love those. Sorry about the knife in the pic, a brother was hungry. Yes they deserve 5 stars.

Tom X Pub is a family-owned pub and restaurant located on Tom X Road in East Stroudsburg. It's open Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday through Sunday from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM. After exploring Bushkill Falls, my friend and I stopped by Tom X Pub to refuel. The cozy atmosphere made it easy to relax, and the food hit the spot. Our server, Margot, stood out for her friendly attitude and spot-on menu suggestions. I started with the award-winning chili, made with three kinds of beans and topped with cheddar Jack cheese. It was hearty and satisfying, though I expected a bit more depth of flavor and heat. Next, instead of ordering full entrées, we decided to share a few appetizers. We went with mozzarella sticks, mini pierogi, and jumbo chicken wings tossed in their signature Black Dragon sauce. The mozzarella sticks were pretty standard. The pierogi were tasty, though I could've done without the peppers. The wings were the clear standout, crispy, flavorful, and the one item I'd come back for. The Black Dragon sauce was especially good, a peppery teriyaki-style glaze that hit just the right balance of sweet and heat. We finished our meal with the brownie sundae, a sweet and satisfying way to end the evening. Between the welcoming vibe, attentive service, and the unforgettable Black Dragon wings, Tom X Pub is definitely worth a visit!

The pub sat on a worn stretch of road, its faded sign lurking in the breeze. Inside, the smell of stale beer and fried food lingered. Scrawled warnings before entry—“No Politics. No Religion. No Racism.”—were everywhere, but the air felt thick with unspoken tension. Conversations buzzed with subtle jabs, and glances lingered too long, as if everyone was one comment away from an argument. The bartender watched it all, silent but alert. Old country songs played on the jukebox, their meaning shifting with the listener. Though the rules were clear, every word and gesture hinted that they were just waiting to be broken. The food was decent along with the drinks. The elderly woman who seated us, was a tad unpleasant and unwelcoming. The younger wait staff was a bit lively and warm. Location has one bathroom that is ADA.

I had an amazing surprise birthday party for my sister at the Tom X Pub! I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Danielle, the owner, was awesome, she created a menu that was perfect for the guests and was very cost efficient. She created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Another star of the party was our waitress, Katie. She was an absolute delight. Katie’s friendly demeanor and attentive service made our experience exceptional. She anticipated our needs and made sure we had everything we could possibly want throughout the entire party. Overall, Danielle and Katie's commitment to excellence in both service and food is evident (must have the wings!). I highly recommend this place for lunch, dinner or to book a party, they go over and beyond- Danielle & Katie were very accommodating to my situation on more people attending than anticipated, they made it all work out beautifully without me having to stress about the situation. I can’t thank Danielle and Katie for making my sister’s surprise party such a...
