Beautiful facility with a terrific pet-friendly deck overlooking a quiet mountain lake. The indoor dining room is stately. The food was really much better than I expected, the kids loved the burgers and spouse really liked the brisket. I wanted to try the corkscrew shrimp but went for the wings instead. They hit the spot. "1 pound" ended up being seven wings. This is a great place to take in some great Laurel Mountain views, experience great food, and soak up an amazing mountain style ambiance. Menu has a lot of options, food is amazing, and staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel very welcome (a lot of long term regular staff...so you do get to see some familiar faces that help the place feel like home). What a beautiful place! I was here for a shoot and grabbed breakfast before we started. Their bacon croissant with a bottle of orange juice hit the spot!
