Pizzeria DaVinci Rockfall — Restaurant in Middlefield

This was my first time ordering here. My husband will eat almost any pizza if it is baked lightly, thin or greek. I, on the other hand, like a nice thin Italian style pizza. As far as grinders go, I am ridiculously meatball parm grinder picky. That being said, we ordered a pizza for the hubs (half sausage half roni, he loved that it was real sausage crumbles!) which was perfect, and a meatball parm sub for myself along with a "simple" tossed salad. The "simple" salad was HUGE and full of so many fresh toppings. Delivery came in a timely manner, 3rd party delivery, and food was nice and hot. Unfortunately, my meatball grinder was a buffalo chicken grinder. One call to the restaurant and the owner apologized profusely and promptly sent 2 half meatball grinders instead of 1 half that was originally ordered. Very generous of him. Honestly the review for this place deserves is a 0. The interaction I had with the individual person who answered the phone was absolutely abysmal, especially being new to the area. We did not know that the store closes at 9pm, so when we called at 8:10pm on a Saturday night inquiring about putting in an order for 10 pizzas, we were met with nothing but hostility and hatred. We were basically laughed at and told, in such disgustingly condescending tones, that they were not willing to fulfill our request. Me being the nice person I am I said thank you and sorry for bothering them. So we found another place in Durham that was very happy and willing to take our money in exchange for pizzas. We’ve noticed that our last couple of orders were not as good as what we’ve gotten from Da Vinci in the past, but last night was the worst. We ordered 3 pizzas and each were very disappointing. Starting off, the dough was unbelievably thin on all of our pizzas. As soon as we started taking slices out of the boxes, they were falling and ripping apart. 2 of our pizzas had onions randomly scattered on them when we did not ask for onions anywhere in our order. Each pizza had barely any sauce and were soaked in grease. Very disappointing, especially for what we paid.
