The Table Coffee House — Restaurant in Middlesborough

Update: Last friday I ate the meatloaf special late in the afternoon. I had not eaten amything else that day. I was sick for two days. Today, I ordered a king david sandwich. It arrived with totally raw bacon on it. I sent it back. Then i bit into an onion ring thst was still cold and wet from the freezer. They were not fully cooked. I sent them back slso. Last fridsy we brought four of our friends in to eat with us. The two orders for cheese hamburgers had no cheese on them and had no mayo or tomato that we asked for.. We sent them back. When we got them back they were still not correct, but we ate them as is. They were not prepared at all like we asked. I debated on whether or not to post this but this is the second time I have had a bad experience and I paid $12 for food that was very mediocre if that. ordered a chicken salad sandwich and cole slaw. I finally got a chicken salad sandwich (very plain and unappetizing) 20 minutes later and when I asked about the cole slaw she told me that they were out. I then asked for some chips instead, which I never got. I then went inside to pay where I saw a worker picking out toppings from a salad with an ungloved hand. She even ate some of the toppings as she was picking them off. I thought surely she was not serving this to a customer but then I saw her walk towards a table with it. My co worker and I have wanted to eat here for quite some time. Finally made it over there today on our lunch break. We were greeted nicely and there was a very friendly atmosphere. Had our order taken at 12:45, was brought drinks and some kettle corn. That’s it. We never received our food. We were never spoken to again until we decided at 1:40 to pay for our drinks and go.
