Valencia Donut Co. — Restaurant in Middlesex Township

Passed this donut shop on my way to North Park several times and finally stopped in this morning. AMAZING DONUTS! and super friendly staff as well. Been to donut shops from small ma and pa shops to huge fancy ones in Portland and these are easily on the same caliber as all of those! Keep supporting local and skip the chains!

If I had any suggestions, it would be to have recommended combinations to choose from and name them (after something locally maybe or holiday themed names (Booberry Vampire Donut- blueberry with jelly filling??- you get the idea)) to give folks that were clueless or first timers like me some direction and to give regulars something different and fun to choose from that your team has come up with...in combination with building your own- which is awesome!

I've been wanting to stop in here for a while, but could never time it when they're open. I went out of my way to try this place today, and I'm so glad I did. the donuts are so fresh and the fluffiest cake donuts you'll ever have. its like Subway for a donut, you pick the donut, you pick the icing, you pick the toppings, they can even fill cake donuts if you want! all that deliciousness is nothing without good customer service and they had the best customer service I've experienced in a while. the guy there seemed like he might be the owner, and seemed so happy that I could join him that morning for my donut and coffee.
