Taqueria 287 — Restaurant in Midlothian

I went to his location after checking in the reviews. The customer service is really good. It took him about 15 minutes or so to make the tacos they give you a little beaver thing. We ordered three veggie one chicken and one quesadilla. I also ordered some grilled jalapeños after our I had already paid. They were $.50 apiece not very spicy. The burritos were wrapped correctly. They were falling apart upon opening the foil paper. The cheese was not melted. The bruises are also not marked. It would’ve been nice at least Mark the chicken one I had to go through and open and cut every burrito open. The rice was OK but honestly, the burrito flavor was completely missing. They said have guacamole and sour on the burrito but they did not. They said they have sour cream. It was just an OK experience. We were hungry. We stopped there I would not stop there again. First two times I came here I called in the order and specifically told them no onions or cilantro on the carne asade/steak tacos. Picked it up got all the way home to Mansfield and it had cilantro and raw diced onions on it.. Threw it away.. Repeated myself several times. 2nd trip/order I even explained that last order I said no onions and cilantro and they still put it on there. Same thing on the way home they were loaded with onions and cilantro. I would love to give them a shot again because the bean and cheese burrito I ordered was amazing and the green sauce was delicious. I just wished they paid more attention to detail and they would get my business at least 2-3 times a week. One piece of advice I have for the owner is teach your employees to be attentive to detail. Edit: after posting my initial experience, I was refunded my grubhub bill without even requesting. I was not expecting that and so I decided to show my appreciation by going back and ordering from them again. I ordered 10 of their breakfast tacos and went and picked them up this time. Everything was perfect! The food is really that good. They have become a weekly stop for my family. It is nice to see a business that actually appreciates their guests and listens to their feedback
