Where to start! There were 4 other couples in the restaurant at the time we got there, it was NOT busy what-so ever. We ordered drinks and cheese curds to start our meal. My Grandmother ordered a bloody-mary, she never received the snit that came with. Our cheese curds came out soon after ordering them, we ate those and waited to order, we ended up having to call the waitress over about 15 mins after we were done with our appetizer to let her know we were ready to order. I ordered the cheese and veggie quesadilla, my Grandma ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs with fries and my boyfriend ordered the burger with pulled pork and bacon on it with Cajun fries. We waited 50 minutes, never saw the waitress in that time once, she never asked if we wanted refills or anything. Finally she comes over to let us know that a large group came in after us and that the cook was backed up and that our order was going on the grill next, she said it would be out in about 10 minutes, at that point I told her we would take it to go, which was a huge mistake. The ribs were burned to a crisp, my Grandma couldn't even get them off the bone, they went in the trash. The veggies in my quesadilla weren't cooked and the onions were so strong that they were hot, the peppers were bitter and there was barely any cheese. That went in the trash as well. My boyfriends fries were not Cajun and were not fully cooked, they went in the air fryer and were decent. His burger wasn't too bad but the pulled pork on it was dry as hell. The waitress was sweet but could have done a lot of things different. Its really a shame that this happened as the first time we were there the food was great. As we were leaving there was a woman waiting for an ambulance due to falling on the ice in the...
Read moreOur first experience was for Father's Day. We had a group of six. They seemed to be short staffed. A very timid, but friendly gentleman was brought out to be our waiter. He may have been new or maybe even the bar tender from the other room. He did great job considering the circumstances. The food on this day was great. Our party of six decided to return since all were impressed with our first experience. We had reservations for 2:45 on Sunday afternoon. Nobody greeted us at the door. When we did find somebody, they told us to go ahead a pick our table. Three people ordered the shrimp dinners. They were very pleased. Two others ordered queen cut prime rib, cooked medium. They were so tough they could barely cut through them. I ordered the daily steak special. (garlic butter steak). I originally ordered medium, but changed it to medium well. It was so dry and also very tough to cut...almost crispy on the outside. Although, not burnt. According to my receipt, it was entered as WELL done. No bread was served or offered before the meal as it states on the menu. One person did not want the "salad" part of their meal and the waitress asked if someone else wanted it. My husband said he would take it as coleslaw. We had to ask for that portion as it was never brought out with either meal. The dissatisfaction was mentioned to the waitress at the end of the meal. She did appologize but offered no type of compensation as she grabbed the dishes and went to the back to get the tabs. She seemed unconcerned. She did offer the two birthday guests each a piece of apple pie. Best restaurant made apple pie I ever tasted. (Too bad you don't sell the...
Read moreI'm not one to leave a negative review, especially with this place because whenever Amie Jo or Amanda are working we have exceptional service. Tonight though, 9/20, we had terrible service. My friend ordered a drink about 20 minutes before we arrived and still didn't have it when we got there, but it was sitting at the end of the bar waiting to be served. mind you, there were 2 tables, us and one other table. When I needed a refill, I wasn't acknowledged by our server, so I went to the bar. Our server met me at the bar and said oh I was just coming to check on you, but she should check before I feel the need to go to the bar to reorder. This ordering at the bar and our server meeting us at the bar happened 3 times during our visit, if they were busy, I would understand, but it was us and one other table, or us and a couple at the bar and that was it. Our original server said she was done for the night and we were getting a new server, and the same thing happened with her. She was sitting at the bar looking at the Super One ad while we were waiting for service. Ended up asking for our checks and leaving because we weren't getting served. Love Dry Dock but consistent training needs to be done after seeing 2 of our servers ignoring...
