Long haul driver's parked across the street for the night, walked over for dinner. Young lady that greeted us was very friendly and had the all around kind southern charm you find in Georgia. Ordered two plates. 1. Rib plate w/baked beans and corn 2. BBQ plate with added ribs, greens and baked potato. Plates came with the choice of four different style of sauce's we went with the sweet and hot flavor. Plate 1. As stated from my partner, he said everything was good, meat was tender however without the sauce added it was bland in flavor. Nothing to really rave about but was happy that he tried it. Plate 2. I thought the BBQ was really good...It was very mild in smoke flavoring, however when adding the sweet sauce I thought it was quite delicious. Tender and succulent. The greens were on point! Tender and very well flavored as I was hoping for. I could have definitely ate an entire small bowl of those. The baked potato was fresh and good. I do agree with my partner on the rib's, if we hadn't any sauce to put on them they would have been really bland. However they were good, overall dinner was really good. If or when we come back this way we would stop again, I wouldn't say it's a place to add to our must stops destination restaurants though. A well earned four stars, but not quite five. For two people without drinks our cost was $35.32 Inside was very clean and has really cute decor....what you would expect in a small town southern BBQ joint. The ladies bathroom could certainly use an updating.

Overall Score: 5.6/10 – A clean and spacious BBQ spot with friendly staff, a straightforward menu, and flavorful sauces, but the food quality overall doesn’t stand out. Atmosphere and Service: 5.8/10 – The restaurant is clean and spacious inside, though the exterior feels a bit outdated. The parking lot is large and convenient, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The menu is large, easy to read, and offers a decent selection, though it lacks anything particularly unique. The food arrived on time, enhancing the overall experience. Meats: 5.5/10 – The brisket was well-cooked but leaned on the salty side, with the BBQ sauce significantly enhancing the flavor. The chicken was a highlight, perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. The ribs were good in terms of texture and cooking, though the taste fell short, lacking the bold flavor expected. The meats were reasonably priced for the portion sizes and quality. Sides: 5.7/10 – The mac and cheese stood out slightly with its breadcrumb topping, which added a unique touch, though it was otherwise average. The Brunswick stew was solid but not memorable. The loaded potato was satisfying with plenty of cheese and good-quality beef, making it a well-priced and enjoyable side.

I'm always looking for great food spots on our frequent travels down 95 and found this sweet spot just off the highway. Easy on and off. The food was absolutely amazing! I got a smokin potato with brisket. It was loaded and the brisket had great flavor and super tender. Their prices are extremely reasonable for good bbq. The gal working the front was very friendly and greeted us as soon as we entered. Now, here's where I went from giving 5 stars to 3. Out of nowhere, a very young blonde girl came from the back with cleaner and started slamming the metal chairs into tables. Not just bumping, but lifting up and slamming them as she wiped down table tops. She started right beside where I was sitting and continued for several minutes. We were in an hour before closing so I don't know if she thought she was rushing us out but that creates a horrible experience very quickly. After 13 hours on the road and you want to relax a few minutes with a meal..this didn't help. I may try the other location during one of our other trips down the coast.

Smokin Pig Brunswick is a barbecue joint located in Brunswick, Georgia. They have been serving up delicious barbecue since 2007. The restaurant is known for its smoked meats, including brisket, ribs, and chicken. They also have a wide variety of sides to choose from, including mac and cheese, brunswick stew, and potato salad.

I recently visited Smokin Pig Brunswick with family and we were all impressed with the food. We tried the brisket and pulled pork sandwich and they were all great. The brisket was tender and juicy and the pulled pork was perfectly smoked. We also really liked the sides. The mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy and the brunswick stew was good. (First time trying it)

Overall, we had a great experience at Smokin Pig Brunswick. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great barbecue joint in Brunswick, Georgia.

I’m starting by saying Idk how this place has this many stars it should be the most 2 and that being generous tbh. The vibe is way off as soon as you go in the parking lot , not exaggerating! The atmosphere in the restaurant is not pleasant at all, the smell in there is terrible and it gets in your cloth in no time is so bad that I could compare it to the the smell in smithfield (the company that kills and produces the meat). customer service even worst the girl that helped me when I went to pick my order was rude and had a terrible attitude they still had 40 mins to close when I placed my order but she she was ready to get out of there, which I understand but that not the way to act with customer even after I thanked her! Food is the worst thing ever, no flavor at all, I barely ate the mac and cheese because I was starving and it was only mcdonnalds there but 100x better should of gone there and not waste my $30 with that terrible food that I ended up wasting and the next day I ended up sick on my stomach for just trying it! Worst restaurant I ever been to and I never say that! I got the beef plate with mac and cheese and cole slaw, side of chicken and bread (burned) only thing that was so so it was the beef everything else just nasty! I absolutely don’t recommend this place and for sure...
