Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant LLC — Restaurant in Midwest City

Nice to have another dine-in oriental restaurant in MWC. It is located in a small N.E.Pocket of MWC, away from most of the hustle and bustle...a neighborhood restaurant best describes this location. We shared the crab rangoon and they were terrific! Big and filled with deliousness. The sweet sour sauce nicely balanced. Not overly sweet nor too sour. For entrees, we ordered sweet sour chicken and the triple delight. The sweet sour chicken was breaded perfectly... moist, and tender. Large portion too! It came with rice and an egg roll. I ordered the triple deluxe. The special sauce was delicious. A tiny bit spicy, not too sweet. The spiciness was a nice addition to what I usually get at other restaurants. Large portion lots of meat. The chicken, beef, and shrimp was Juicy and Tender. The white rice was cooked perfectly. The only down side was that they forgot to add the veggies!!! The restaurant was very clean and refreshing. It reminded me of a retro ice cream shop complete with red and white checkerboard floor tiles. One TV in the corner and no music pĺaying in the background. Could use some background music but it is a new mom and pop type restaurant and I think they have that in the works. Restroom was very clean. The hosts were very pleasant and are working hard to please their new guests. This restaurant is only 4 months young. A fine addition to this neighborhood. After dining at the Golden I can say Drago Midwest City still needs a good Chinese restaurant. I took my family to the Golden Dragon and we were underwhelmed. The food was poor and the service was worse. We ordered dine-in and they gave us some our food to go. We had to ask for plates and they gave us small dessert plates. We had to ask for bowls for soup. The menu states you get a free 2 liter of soda if you spend $50, but they don’t carry 2 liters. The food was bland. The noodles were gummy and the eggrolls are frozen like you buy in...

If I could give a zero I would. I ordered the California Crunch Roll and I had food poisoning from it. :(. They are over priced as well. My daughter ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it was half burnt and half under cooked. How is that even possible?
