TEZ WINGZ — Restaurant in Midwest City

I was very skeptical when I first heard of this place. I used to be a fan of Buffalo Wild Wings, but as of late their wings and service have gone from bad to worse. So, I decided to Google wings in Midwest City, and this place pops up. I've never heard of Tez Wingz and nobody at work has either. What was really confusing was the 4.7 rating on 81 reviews. So of course I'm thinking, there's no way this place is that good and nobody has heard about it. I decided to take a chance and try these high rated wings. The drive was short, but it was really exciting to weave in and out of traffic on Air Depot during lunch time. I arrived at Tez Wingz, and the building was not impressive, but the staff made up for that. The lady who took my order was kind and very giving on her compliments. I was showered with babe, honey, and sweetheart. I was initially all smiles and giggles, but then I regained my senses. I thought this was the reason this place has such high reviews. So I ignored all the nice compliments and sat there with a sour look on my face waiting on these wings. It took about ten minutes, and my wings were ready. The bag was neatly wrapped and warm. I rushed home with anticipation, because of the glorious smell emanating from the bag. When I got home and opened the bag, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food I was given at the price I paid. the wings were absolutely delicious and the fries were seasoned to perfection. the only thing I was upset about was the fact I had to wait until the next day to tell people how great the wings tasted. I don't believe I was greeted when I walked in and it was my first time coming back in a while so I wasn't sure which line to stand in for pick up or delivery. There was a young lady at the counter that didn't say anything to me, "do you need help" "can I help you with anything" while I was standing in the middle of the two lines. I thought it was the second window but wasn't for sure, someone came in front of me and she helped them, that's when I realized that was the pick-up for online or delivery orders. By that time I was already going next to the main window to order. When I said I was there for delivery, they directed me to the second window, where I wouldn't have had to wait as long as I did, if I knew where to go. They opened the food to make sure everything was correct, and it was, and then I was told all my food was free because of their "lottery" system they have in place. That was so great to have the food paid for since our order number matched the lottery numbers for the week or day. Even with the waiting and late pick-up on my end , the food was still SO FRESH and HOT when I drove back home, it wasn't a far drive home but I was happy the chicken was still crispy and juicy, the fries were crispy, and the pizza puff was crispy. This is an edit to my original review- I was a faithful customer to this restaurant ordering at least 2-3 times a week (under the name Briana)I choose to frequent this restaurant because I loved the fact that the chicken/fish was cooked fresh to order- but since I have learned about recent price hikes- I will NO LONGER give them my business-The pro’s -the chicken and or fish is always cooked fresh to order.It is good I will say. The fish is also delicious but they NEVER have any!They now have fish but they raised the price from 11.99 for a two piece catfish and fry to 14.99-which is outrageous-not me- not today! The con’s -you have to wait 15- 30 minutes no matter what !One time my daughter and I waited over an hour inside the lobby to get our food- we waited so long that they ended up giving us our food free-smh! They NEVER answer the phone ! If they do answer it’s a miracle-never seen a business that hardly answers the phone!Not good business practices! They are only open Tuesday-Saturday 4-10.
