What an gem of a find! Everything about this place is welcoming and enjoyable. You can tell this venue is a labor of love. The owners, Sonia and Rich are very personable and welcoming to all of their guest. They seem to be constantly investing in the property and amenities so that their guest can enjoy it as much as they do. I love all of the Scattered places around each part of the property where you will find picnic tables or Adirondack chairs so that each group of guests can find their own cozy little space to hang out and enjoy each other‘s company. Sharing quiet conversations over a glass of wine or any of the other items available on the menu. I love the touch of having a fully stocked pond for catch and release fishing and different food trucks all boasting delicious menu items. A peaceful little getaway is what I would call this venue. Hickory Vines Winery and Campsite 3 are wonderful! Rich is a very attentive and welcoming owner/host. The winery offers a nice and diverse selection of wines and other beverages for any taste and is a great spot to relax or catch some live music! My family stayed in campsite 3 and loved the well-designed site. It is obvious the owners have great vision and care for their property. We enjoyed taking a bottle of wine back to our campsite to enjoy and appreciated the attention to detail given by Rich. My wife and I met up with friends from New York and chose the Hickory Vines Winery. Beautiful atmosphere inside and out. The owner introduced himself immediately and couldn’t be more accommodating. He was very outgoing and made sure we were all comfortable. And not to mention the wine was superb. Whenever we are in the area we will definitely stop in for a couple bottles.
