This Dairy Queen is the bomb!! I kid you not! They have excellent service all the way from placing your order to how your food tastes. For some reason, it seems that the Royal New York Cheesecake Blizzard is difficult to make. Every other Dairy Queen I have been to messes it up somehow. The common issue is that you get about halfway done with your blizzard and you see that the other half is just vanilla ice cream and sometimes maybe some strawberry topping left. The other issue is putting in way too much strawberry topping that you can’t even taste the cheesecake. The third issue is not putting graham crackers in rhetorical blizzard and it is handed out the drive way window with it looking runny or half melted. Not at Milaca though! They are point on every single time. Onamia Dairy Queen is closer to me, but I will not go there bc of the previous stated issues. Milaca is about a 40 minute drive for me and I will and have got in my car and driven there just to get a blizzard no matter if it’s the middle of the day or late at night right before they close-glad I haven’t gotten a speeding ticket trying to make it there before they close😁 Not only is the food spot on, the staff are all very friendly and provide excellent customer service. Their drive thru is quite often filled with cars, but they move through rapidly. This can only be because of the staff’s attention to detail and fast pace in an effort to provide amazing customer service! I also like that their buns on their cheeseburgers always are soft and taste fresh! A stale bun can ruin a cheeseburger very quickly. I will definitely be going back here often as I already have for a couple of years now....
Read moreI recently visited the Dairy Queen Grill & Chill in Milaca, MN during the lunch hour and opted for the drive-through. The restaurant was quite busy, which is usually a good sign.
The drive-through attendant was average in terms of service. They took my order promptly and were polite, but there was nothing exceptional about the interaction. However, considering the rush, I understand that they were busy and efficent.
The wait time was also average, it wasn't too long, but it also wasn't particularly quick. Considering the lunch hour rush, I expected a reasonable wait.
Now, onto the best part—the food! I ordered the chicken strips with french fries, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations. The chicken strips were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the french fries were cooked to perfection. The portion size was generous, and I felt satisfied after finishing my meal.
One of the highlights of my visit was the meal deal, which included a sundae. This was a fantastic value for the price. The sundae was delicious. It added a delightful touch to the meal and left me feeling truly satisfied.
Overall, I had a positive experience at this Dairy Queen location. While the drive-through attendant and wait time were average, the food quality, portion size, and the value provided by the meal deal were above average. I would definitely eat at this restaurant again, especially considering the great value offered. If you're in the area and craving some tasty chicken strips and a delightful sundae, I recommend giving this Dairy Queen Grill &...
Read moreI was really hungry and I stopped by to get two Sundays and I was handed two half melted sundaes. I was confused and showed it to the drive-thru lady she said, we have long lines they melt before you're able to pick them up! I just looked at her and I looked at it again and I knew she wasn't going to give me any money back or anything so I just took it. It was pretty soupy and I was like why am I eating a half melted ice cream? The whole point of getting this nice little treat is when you're hot you get to cool off... Thoroughly disappointed. This is the picture of what she handed me through the window. There was also a peanut butter sundae just like it. No lids nothing no bag. It was a to-go order. I was confused. When I asked her for a bag it didn't come with any napkins or anything. She just handed me a bag through the window. The weird thing is I could see the Sunday sitting there while I was not quite at the window. I just saw them sitting there and I thought my goodness. Why would they just have ice creams sitting like that and then when I pulled up to the window she didn't give it to me then either. It took her like 3 minutes to go get an ice water before she gave me my Sundays. She gave me them as they were just sitting there on the counter and she was chatting with different people inside the restaurant with the window shut but I could see them my thought was thank God that's not mine because it's been sitting there for so long. I know they're going to make mine fresh and then she...
