El Ranchero Cafe — Restaurant in Milan

I entered this restaurant today with my Mom and my service dog. We were greeted by a young woman who told us to wait and she will be right with us. She went behind the double doors and a man came out and told us that due to one of his employee's being allergic to dogs, we were not allowed to bring my service dog into the restaurant.

I was appalled. I am very attempted to report this restaurant and the owners of the business to the ADA. Someone needs to educate the owners and staff of this restaurant.

The only reason why I am giving this restaurant 1 star is because a rating is needed in order to post. My real rating is zero stars. Since we were not allowed in the restaurant, we went down the street to Grants and were welcomed in El Cafecito.

Seriously a fantastic experience. I am newer to New Mexico so I have been trying all the places as I travel. I judge a place off of their burrito. They have high standards. I ordered the Chorizo burrito. It was very full, big burrito. I asked for extra sauce and they had no problem putting inside the extra sauce in the burrito. Every element cooked to perfection inside. A taste of New Mexico flavor. The sauce was complex, yet balanced. EXCELLENT LOVED IT. I managed to eat the entire thing. Excellent serving, flavor, price, quality and service. Standards are high for mexican food in these parts and they hit every note on my palate. From the looks of it, the locals agree. Satisfied. 0 star for this place. I thought it would be good for the 225 stars on this reviews but No. All our order was wrong. We ordered vegetarian food we got beef on a vegetarian dish. A burrito supreme, we got only beef and tortilla. No honey on sopapillas. We didnt see a sign that says we have to ask for utencils. Find it pretty lame we have to ask for utensils instead of been asked if we need them. Today we lost a lot of time. We could have go with the flow and eat what we have but the whole scene w8as terrible. And when we went back to complain it took as another hour To be understood and have a refund. They would argue about us been wrong with what we order. We finally left we half of our money....
