Taqueria Mi Tierra — Restaurant in Milan

I had the chimichanga with chicken, beef and shrimp. Though the shrimp was popcorn shrimp, it was good. The server came back to my table to say "there is no qucamole". Minutes later she brought me a dish of qucamole. My son ate here at a later date and was told the avocados were spoiled and there was no qucamole. I think this restaurant is having an avocado/qucamole problem. He also told me that once the food arrived, the server never came back. He also said the beans were runny and the steak in his Chimichanga was TOUGH!

Service is lacking, but I think training is necessary. Good service is checking on a customer now and then and not just bringing the food to the table. I experienced this in most Mexican restaurants. It might be a cultural difference. I seldom tip for having my food brought to me. I would have gladly picked it up my self and saved 20%.

Overall, I will be back. If for no other reason then to see if I will ever go back...

Went there for the first time today food was okay but a little on the greasy side. Not very impressed with staff they seemed to like to hide in the back I literally had to yell across the restaurant to get somebody to come out and give us a to-go box and then had to sit at the cash register had to yell again to get somebody to come out so we could pay they never handed us the bill most generally if you ask for a to-go box from anywhere they most generally bring you the bill they give them a try again...

Little hole in the wall place in NW Missouri They were surprised we spoke fluent Spanish! Great food and decent service!! Basically a store front for food take out. Not much seating and decor is outdated. I bet they are way under appreciated for the food...
