My boyfriend and I came here for a lunch on our way to another town and were initially excited. The reviews looked decent, and the 50s theme was cute and charming. But when we walked in many of the tables and booths were dirty and some labelled as clean had caked on food. We ignored this and sat down at a booth and the server (20 year old male with brown hair) was very kind and friendly. Where the problem arose was the lack of hygiene. We watched eompeees touch their face, mouth, and scratch them touch the food without washing their hands or wearing gloves. There were also no hair nets being worn. As we watched the employees make some food we saw a younger woman pop some of the meat into her mouth before microwaving it to be served to my boyfriend. (The meat she was heating up looked like what he ordered but I’m not 100% sure.) This was the last straw as I was expecting the food to made fresh and it seemed gross that the employee ate part of it. Where else can you get pancakes, milkshake, and chili cheese fries, and a side of chuckle with the locals.
I’ll be back next time I swing...
Read moreNice small diner, supposedly open 24/7. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. "1950" diner theme decor, with booths and some tables. Service was friendly and very attentive. Food was good, a mix of hamburgers, sandwiches and various fries and onion rings for lunch. They are part of a chain so look up the menu online, it is pretty extensive. You don't go to Milford for fine dining and once you get there you are thrilled to find any restaurant open and serving food. This place is really good, considering the overall situation. I will be happy to go again, when I...
